Lucas, our server/bartender did an excellent job delivering some stellar food and drinks! The shrimp Alfredo was so good and my wife raved about the coconut shrimp. He kept us informed about our order and the service was great! We will be back!

Like so many other reviewers, we used to love this place. The original Rundown had awesome downhome food, a true Caribbean vibe, good beer, and gracious, fun servers. Now under new management, the new Rundown is a shadow of its former self. Admittedly, we were there in the off season. The skeleton crew staff was hustling, and our server was terrific, but service was still a bit erratic since a single server seemed to be taking care of every table. The food, I'm truly sorry to say, is no longer as inventive and delicious. And while the place has been spruced up a bit, it's more or less lost its quirky, beach shack ambience. Among other things, the lighting in the place seems oddly bright and unappealing. I'll likely give it another try one of these days, but gosh do I miss the old Rundown. (One last thing: like so many places these days, there is now a surcharge for using your credit card. You don't find out about that until they bring you the bill. Personally, I find this practice repulsive and predatory. Now that I think about it, I probably won't be back.)

You know what, this was hella bomb. The blackened tuna nachos !?! ?? casual spot and food is amazing. Lucas the bar manager was very friendly! Our service was a bit slow, but they were busy.
