For the fish burrito and it was good, a little over the top in terms of pricing. Kaya was great at front desk, she arranged for pan seared fish instead of shared grill because of my food restrictions and concerns for cross contact with other meats.

Didn't have to wait long at all to be seated, immediately our host asked what drinks we wanted, and if we were ready to order. Had the fish and chips, it was amazing, and excellent hush puppies too! Great music, friendly service, definitely going to come here again.

Roundown Cafe is by far the best spot we’ve found in OXB! The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and delicious in every bite. The service was outstanding; the staff made us feel so welcome and well taken care of. We sat on the second-floor deck and enjoyed a beautiful ocean view, which made the experience even more special. If you’re looking for a place that combines great food, excellent service, and an unbeatable atmosphere, Roundown Cafe is it!

Very roomy, loved the upstairs, staff were wonderful. Definitely come here if you like your seafood and fish ! Not big on that stuff but they had a killer blacken chicken taco
One of the best meals we have had in months. I had sesame noodle bowl with chicken, absolutely delicious and a large portion too. Richard had the fish tacos and they were delicious as well, both dishes recommended by our waitress Kristin who was very friendly and attentive to us. Highly recommend Run Down Cafe for anyone looking for a good selection at a good price, and friendly staff 10 out of 10!

Our last night in OBX was a struggle. It was a Sunday and so many places were closed early or had super long waits. We ended up driving all the way down here from Corolla.
I kinda wish we had chose elsewhere. We got chips and salsa/queso for an appetizer. The chips were stale, the salsa was clearly El Paso or some other very cheap jarred salsa, and the queso probably the same. It felt extremely lazy.
I ordered the Jerk Burger for my meal. I ended up being pretty disappointed. The burger, which I ordered medium, was well done. The jerk sauce was extremely sweet which is not something that is normal for a jerk sauce and it ended up not being good at all.
Luckily my wife didn’t finish her California burger and it ended up being cooked closer to what she ordered and was a lot better than mine.
If you’re looking for good quality food, not sure I could recommend this place.

Place was very busy, the outside was closed and we ate upstairs. One waitress for the upstairs and she did the best she could. Coconut shrimp was very good . Prices were fair and drinks good. Service was good for how busy it was.
