We're always looking for new restaurants to try, and tonight we found this gem. Of all the times we've been to the outer banks, we somehow never tried Shipwrecks. It is absolutely awesome. Food was fresh, flavorful, and well priced for the portions you receive. The atmosphere is akin to an upbeat ocean themed sports bar, however it is charming and enjoyable. Went there to get some seafood. I got crab legs and an admirals feast. Everything was delicious. Our server Carolyn was amazing.

Fiancé and I came here for dinner during vacation. Lively spot on a Saturday night - live music, outdoor seating (ground level + deck), big bar inside (where we sat) and at least a dozen big screens for sports. Good mix of baseball, NFL, and UFC. Great beer selection on tap. Hushpuppies appetizer was great and I loved my shrimp tacos + fries, but the cheesy chicken mac missed the mark.
