starbucks in general is great. this particular one sucked. went to obx and didnt have my coffee from home all week. on the way home I was dying for a starbucks drink so I stopped by. The wait was quick but the drink didnt even taste like coffee. It was basically all creamer/flavor. they must have put 5 times the amount they do at ANY other Starbucks ive ever been to. I hate Dunkin and almost stopped there but wanted to get home ?

I placed my order, waited 20 minutes.Then I asked the batista girl about my order...she said it's been ready /there.She didn't call my name, I didn't go anywhere and I was four feet away.Disappointed.

I'm usually not one to leave a bad review, but I just left this location and am completely appalled. We just drove 4.5+ hours to the OBX, got some terrible news and had to turn around and drive 4.5 more home... we stopped to get coffee to help keep us awake. I understand we arrived close to close but I didn't think it would be the end of the world. I work in the service industry as well and would NEVER act the way this lady acted. She had the WORST attitude, didn't listen to what we were saying AT ALL, and then slammed the door behind my fiancé. Both drinks were wrong because of the fact that she didn't care to listen. i didn't get the pumpkin loaf i asked for because she was too busy huffing and puffing about having to stay 2 extra minutes past close.

Never have I seen it take 3 people to make one cup of coffee with 5 people behind the counter just talking and playing around with two customers. Coffee was great so was the food, but service coulda been better. I've had 5 star service at this location so as someone who is in the service industry this was a disappointment. I'll go to the KDH store from now on.

Jacob is an absolute GEM!! I met him when he trained at my particular Starbucks in Williamsburg, VA. He said he was training for the Starbucks in the Outer Banks, but I didn’t catch which one. If you have him, cherish him! Thank you again, Jacob and I will definitely be paying it forward.

Great atmosphere and very clean,they have clean bathrooms too!Parking: Not so easy sometimes, be careful backing out because there's traffic all over! Just watch carefully and it'll be ok!Kid-friendliness: Great coffee drinks and excellent service!
