Steamers catered my daughter’s wedding and the appetizers and dinner food were absolutely delicious! We received so many compliments on the food. The bartenders did a great job too! Highly recommend this caterer! Thank you Steamers! Lisa Pignatelli

Atmosphere and staff were great, food not so much. How this is rated over a 4 I have no idea. We had a party of 6 and all dishes were flavorless and bland. Absolutely no seasoning on the chefs special boil. Definitely will not visit again.

My second visit to Steamers and while the atmosphere and staff are always pleasurable, the menu falls just short for me. The flavor combinations always lack the right acid and fall on the good not great category. It’s a solid option on the beach, usually not overly busy like most spots unfortunately due to no dish has you running back to visit again. If you’re looking for a good meal without waiting 7 business days it’s a good option.

We took our family out for dinner and had outstanding service. Our server, Kalee, was preemptive with drinks, oyster cracker and hot hand towels. She made the meal perfect but the crab was excellent too!

In my opinion this is the best restaurant in OBX. Thoughtfully prepared dishes, excellent service, amazing cocktails, and even excellent zero-proof drinks (which my pregnant wife very much enjoyed). Outstanding in every way.

Wonderful experience all around. The staff was very attentive and food was great. Special mention to the manager! He made sure we had a memorable time and took great care of us while out on our family dinner. Our 3 year old is still talking about “Mr. Mike”

Our entire group on vacation went here (six kids and six adults). The staff did a good job at getting us a long table so that we could all sit together.

There were several mixed drinks ordered. The old-fashioned was the only one that we had to send back (wasn’t any good). But, they replaced it with something else.

They had a couple chef options, which were good choices for seafood lovers. One was the halibut (picture attached) in another one was fish that was similar to grouper.) we can’t remember what it was called).

One guy got a pound of steam shrimp which she said was very good. The other buddy got crab legs and his only complaint was there really wasn’t a lot of crab legs with one order. Wish there was more.

Overall, great atmosphere inside the restaurant. The floor plan is wide open, so you don’t feel like you’re squeezed into any little corner or anything like that. The bathrooms were cleaned.

Fours of us went to dinner on Friday evening and we were all thrilled with our meal. The seafood was absolutely fresh and flavorful. Iwe all had different dishes:
Seared yellowtail w/fried oysters over mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley
Seafood bisque
Fish & chips
Fried clams

We would go back in a heartbeat.

One of the best places I've eaten in a while. We ordered the Mediterranean cheese ball for the table and it was excellent, along with everything else. By far one of the best restaurants on the OBX!! I had the chefs special (pictured below) and it was amazing. I can't recommend this place enough :)

Loved every dish and service was fabulous! The fish and chips were a tasty variation - not the traditional thick batter, but a very good light batter; a nice variation of a classic. The accompanying slaw (vinegar based) was another good change. The bistro beef and grits were delicious, with the gorgonzola mixed in. The chef's special, fish with the miso sauce, bok choy and purple rice, was also very good, with well-balanced flavors. Desserts of chocolate cake with a raspberry sauce and carrot cake with cream cheese frosting were a perfect end to a great dinner. Highly recommend!
