Ordered two whole birds and some chicken tenders. The tenders were made from all white breast meat and very good. The fried chicken was good but nothing special. You pick it up at the Pizzaz Pizza place. Don’t let this keep you from ordering their pizza. It was very good had that in a separate trip.

My son was craving fried chicken so he ordered the half bird. As soon as he got in the car with it, I was sad that I did not buy any for myself. It smelled so good. I tried a piece when we got home and it was delicious. It had a slight spice to it which gave it a really good flavor. The coating was crispy while the chicken was moist. It also was not super expensive like everything else here in Duck. We will be back!

Disappointed with our dinner here. Got the whole bird combo.They were out of coleslaw so told us they could do fries. I walked up to order and was told 30 minutes.I came back 30min later and my order was coming out so they got that right.-The Mac and cheese was delicious-The fries were inedibly underdone.-The chicken was lightly breaded, much moreso than I saw on other photos I've seen in reviews here. The skin was not crispy at all. The flavor was great and the chicken was very tender and juicy. Definitely closer to underdone than overdone, but not concerningly so.If the chicken was better cooked and breaded and the fries were done it would've been a great meal I think.

We ordered half a chicken from the Duck carry out location, and ate it at the adjoining pizza restaurant. It was fun to meet the founder’s grandson, who was single-handedly running the store. The chicken was absolutely delicious-perfectly fried and seasoned, with a light, crunchy and non-greasy batter, and the portions were large….very good value and simply scrumptious!

We ordered a half a chicken and 10 chicken tenders & fries for pick up. The chicken and tenders were fresh out of the oven when we picked it up. Chicken & tenders were moist, tasty, large and had a great crust. French fries were pretty good! Please add packets of honey. We shall definitely be ordering from The Cookshak again during our vacation.

Ordered and had it delivered to our rental. They told us 45 min but it ended up being 30 min. The chicken was delicious. Sooooo juicy and seasoned. YUM YUM YUM. The slaw and mac were also very good. We got the combo and it was only $25.99. That's a lot of food for a good price. There were 3 of us eating and we still had chicken left over!

This place is absolutely amazing! We placed an order for 90 chicken fingers (huge) pieces and 6 orders of fries. Everything was fantastic and was the hit of the party.

I heard amazing things but was pretty disappointed. The breading on the chicken wasn’t as crispy as you would hope and the fries were soggy and greasy. Seasoning was tasty though.

We were looking for a place to get some friend chicken to enjoy on the beach.... This place far exceeded our expectations with the delicious seasoned fried chicken and the pizzas. The owner blue, definitely showed my family real southern hospitality as we stopped in to grab some food. He came out and greeted us and we were all excited and thanked him on how delicious the food was. We will definitely be back. Try the tenders - you won't be disappointed.
