Alpaca Peruvian Charcoal Chicken

1/4 white chicken & double green beans. First time there. The food was tasty. Really liked the sauce on beans. Nice atmosphere, friendly & quick staff. The bathroom was clean too. Nice spot.

This review is WAY overdue! My goodness I 🥰 this place. The food is good and I love the Steak Sataldo. However, what I'm here to brag about is the customer service.

There are a lot of young people who work here. I don't even know if anyone is even 25 other than the cooks. The young people are so well mannered with great attitudes. I can tell they get along well with one another. They are ALWAYS nice to customers and every last one of them seems to be diligent workers. I've never even ONCE seen anyone just standing around. All hands on deck is what I see.

I once saw a few of them watching a football game (soccer) on a slow day. They all were so quiet even as they silently cheered. Soon after they were back to work. It's rare to find restaurants where the food is consistently good and even the youth is nice. Also, the place is always clean.

Amazing tasting chicken. Like some of the best Ive ever had. Not a single dry part of the chicken, it was very soft and delicious. I got the half chicken, wife got the pollo saltado. Couldnt go wrong with either option!

We called in our order ahead of time for a seamless pickup. Not sure if they were understaffed but still had to wait 30 minutes upon arrival to receive my food. Once I got my food and got home noticed I only had 2 little containers of green sauce no yellow sauce and I ordered a whole chicken. Not sure if it is only the Knightdale location that this is an issue as I have been to other locations and have not experienced this issue.

The food is always fresh and hot. This is my favorite Alpaca restaurant. I'm a delivery driver and pick up food here all the time. When I arrive the customers order is always ready for pickup, I think 1 time i had to wait an extra 2 min. Because they were really busy, but they apologized, which i appreciate. I love the food, its always fresh and hot. They are friendly, they respect the delivery drivers, and they provide 5 star service to every customer. Thank you.

Ordered on the phone, came to pick it up 20 minutes later and the order wasn’t ready so the guy told me to order again in the regular line. I understand that some days can get busy but today at this time the restaurant was empty so they don’t have any excuse. 0 customer service!

Lomo saltedo, if I say no potatoes, ill pay the same amount as expected, so to have my money value since im loosing the potatoes i wanted exchange for more onions and tomatoes. The manager was so annoyed and arrogantly respond it would be extra. Even the employee next to her was surprised for her reaction and apologized that could not do anything, at the end asked littler version for the same price. Next LOOK YOUR BILLBOARD! The alfajor say: 1 for $4 and 2 for 7.xx, im like “ want one, they are like we only sell 2, why in the heck you have and deliver bad expectation!!! Look your bilbord menu is listed there, again the manager didnt come on front but from the back i saw her “if he wants it or not??” Nothing we going to do about, shurg and turnaround. Train you manager she is not for it, she needs a lot of work.

Ordered online & was very specific about the amount of sauces that I wanted,etc. Go pick up my order for them to give me a kids meal size portion after I paid $14. They NEVER have to worry about me returning. My order was very specific I asked for 3 yellow sauces & got one. Once I saw the portion of my meal I realized why they gave me 1 yellow sauce. If I could give 0 stars I would. 1st impression & they have legit pissed me off. If I wasnt on my 30min lunch break. I would've drove back & requested my money back & went elsewhere.

Unprofessional Staff, food is never ready on time. I called in an order and they told me it would be ready in 15 min. I get there 30 min later and my food wasn't ready and they struggled to even find my order. This has happened multiple times. I understand Spanish very well, and the young people working there be having very inappropriate conversations in front of customers. I am one that normally doesn't waste time on reviews, so for me to do this means their service is horrible consistently. I would not recommend this location at all.
