First time here and I was surprised. Nice and lots to choose from. The pastry I bought was so good and you really can’t beat the price. I’ll be back to try some other treats.

My daughter cake was a mess I only live 10 minutes away from this bakery and when I open the cake was messy and very bad looking and very very expensive $55 for one cake
Never going back. There’s a reason why they don’t give you an itemized receipt, they overcharge you! They charged us $3 for one avocado. I knew I was never coming back to the bakery when I saw they had bread 3 inches from the ground in those bread towers where everyone’s feet passes by and children running around touching bread with her hands. I don’t know if she was a manager or the owner but the lady with blondish hair’s attitude was the cherry on top to ensure we never come back. Just the way she spoke to other customers… no thank you

With Anna’s help I ordered some pastries for a party we are having coming up. First time experience with Mexican pastries. I left with a savory jalapeño bread that had ham and cream cheese in it and it was amazing! I need to go back and get some more of those when I pick up my party order! The bread was so tasty and fresh. I also had churros which were crispy deliciousness! Great place for pastries of any kind.
Parking: There were some spots in front but I parked on the side street to the right because I have a walker. The side entrance has a step. The front entrance didn’t have a step and was a push open door. It wasn’t heavy at all.

We have been searching for the best panderia in the triangle area and have tried almost all options. Unfortunately this place left us very disappointed. We moved here from Texas and have had some of the best in both Austin and San Antonio. This place provided us with dry, stale and honestly not much flavor. I would not go out of your way to try this place and look for other options.

La Mexicanita is located in the heart of downtown Knightdale stood a little bakery with a big heart. For years, its aroma of freshly baked conchas and sweet pastries wafted through the streets, drawing locals and visitors alike to its quaint storefront. Owned and operated by a resilient soul determined to share the flavors of Mexico with the world, La Mexicanita was more than just a bakery; it was a beacon of hope and unity in the community.I still remember the first time I stumbled upon La Mexicanita. Intrigued by the bustling crowd gathered outside, I decided to join the queue, unsure of what to expect. As I took my first bite of a freshly baked concha, my taste buds were transported to a world of sweetness and warmth unlike anything I had ever experienced before. From that moment on, I was hooked. But it wasn't just the irresistible pastries that kept me coming back to La Mexicanita; it was the sense of belonging and connection that permeated its walls. In a world plagued by division and discord, La Mexicanita served as a reminder that we are stronger together than we are apart.

I was walking downtown on a Sunday morning, and a delicious smell was wafting through the air near Main Street. As I walked past La Mexicanita, I saw fresh sweets being baked, and my mouth started to water! Before this moment, I didn't know this slice of heaven existed, let alone the pure joy that awaited inside. I walked past at first - sometimes it's hard to jump into new experiences - but then decided I had to stop and go inside. I was met by an amazing wall of sweets. I'll admit I know basically nothing about Mexican desserts, but the smell of sugar is a universal language. I decided on two conservative treats I knew I would enjoy, and boy, was I right. After checking out with the nice lady at the front counter, I left and started digging in. Believe me when I tell you that I could not physically hold in the "mmm's" and "so goood's" as I continued walking downtown, treat in hand, to finish my walk. I highly recommend visiting this sweet-treat paradise! I know I'll be back!
