The food was average. Everything was average and, therefore, way overpriced, in my opinion. The steak was average and could be made better at home.Not a restaurant i would bother to return to.

Great Food, But Be Ready to Wait

Had a mostly great experience at this restaurant, especially if you’re a steak lover. Their steaks are easily a 4/5—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The bread was also a standout, fresh and perfectly baked. For the quality of the food, the price felt fair and justified.

The one drawback? The service was slow. It took quite a while for someone to take our drink orders, even longer to place our food order, and the food itself took a while to come out. If they could tighten up the service, this place would easily be 5 stars. But if you have the time and patience, it’s worth the wait!

When we got there we were told, along with several others that left, it was a 45 minute wait. We only waited 5 minutes which was great. I should have realized that the wait was going to be for the food to get to the table cold. The steak was nasty and I could not even eat mine and brought it home to the dogs. Very disappointed especially with the cost ! 2 trips in 1. First and last

As a Texan I’ve come to really miss eating at Saltgrass. I made the hour plus trek to this Saltgrass and was not disappointed. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. The brisket queso continues to be my favorite appetizer. It was worth the drive.

It is very hard for me to give a place a good review when me and my family were turned away and denied service when we were trying to celebrate my mother's birthday. They did all they could to turn us away, but in the restaurant industry you should do all you can to assist the customer. They did nothing but stand there and say how they could not do this or that. We drove about an hour to get to this restaurant to get turned away. I cannot support or recommend this establishment.

I don't know where to start, it was so disappointing.
It took them forever to bring our food and by the time it arrived everything was cold (this place is freezing) and they brought sides we didn't order. At least our waitress was nice.

My first time was several weeks ago, and I really enjoyed the experience. Everything felt like upscale dining and it was definitely worth the travel to visit friends who lived in the night down North Carolina area. The only negative I could post was the meat was definitely too full of grizzle and, not very good. I was hoping to have a better cut of steak.

The food is delicious. And the rolls are so soft, so soft it's like the melt in your mouth. You get your money's worth in food also. My first time going and will be going back.
