I apparently missed something. I got the impression by the web site and online menu that SP Smokehouse was a ……smokehouse. Went there for the first and last time today and discovered it was a dark, dingie sports bar with bar food menus. The brisket sandwich was the closest thing to bbq on the menu, and it was decent. The onion rings were mushy and soggy inside. Their tea was almost all water. They were out of my second choice drink, so I got the third choice. I only give them 3 stars because the waitress was very friendly and attentive. Not at all what we expected or hoped for.

This is a food offering inside of another business. The bbq nachos were good but the beef brisket tasted like it was store brought and not cooed on site. There was no bbq sauce offered with it and the bbq needed it.

The brisket nachos are nothing to write home about. I've had better brisket off of food trucks. It was dry and bland. The nachos tasted even less appealing than they looked. Ice say someone dumped nachos on a plate, threw some tomatoes on em, added some meat and then cheese before nuking them for 60seconds. I'm not gonna say they're the worst nachos I've ever ordered, but next time I'll just get some from the Taco Bell down the road. Nothing positive about this experience.

Just purchased almost $60 worth of SP smokehouse through grub hub. What in the southern bbq blasphemy…?We ordered two brisket plates. The brisket is dry and bland and none of it came with any sauce to help it. No bbq or vinegar anything. The hush puppies are hard and chalky. Also no honey butter or anything to make them less dry or palatable.I don’t speak Ill of cornbread so we just won’t say anything since I can’t say anything nice.The mashed potatoes are made of exactly potatoes and water. There was absolutely no seasoning or flavor to them. Only about three bites were provided anyway so maybe it was for the best?The macaroni and cheese is a soupy bowl of cheesy colored liquid with semi hard noodles. Again no seasoning or flavor.2/5 stars because it was made quickly…

The SP Smokehouse BBQ fell short. The brisket and pulled pork was flavorless. Smithfield BBQ has better flavor. The bases loaded fries were good and the wait staff was friendly.

While in the ladies room washing my hands, there was pounding and cursing outside the door. I thought something was wrong outside and opened the door. Two women barged in. One immediately began relieving herself in front of me while I was washing my hands and the other tried to intimidate me to my back by saying we were all women together. I never said a word and she continued to try to intimidate me to my back by asking me how many paper towels I needed to dry my hands. They were obviously drunk so I just walked out. When I walked out I asked for a manager and explained what happened. I was told managent was on vacation. Our server offered to comp us and I left a nice tip. Howeve, when we left the restaurant, the two women were at the bar and one kept staring at me as we walked out, as if she wasn't finished. Shame on Sports Page for continuing to serve drunken patrons. Customers should not encounter that type of behaivor, We will never go there again.

Made the mistake of ordering Doordash from this place. The food was good many years ago, but what we received was disgusting. The seafood dip was so fishy and greasy...it was the first thing to go in the trash. The cheese stick's were burnt and dry, the cheesesteak was greasy and flavorless and the wings were completely unseasoned. The burger was ok. The only good items were the fries, onion rings, and mac n cheese bites, probably because they were just frozen and deep fried.

Let me start off by saying, the staff is lovely. Great staff, friendly crowd, great drinks. The food.... needs some work. The burgers and cheese steaks need seasoning, the meatloaf is mushy and bland, the chicken tenders are straight up from the freezer section. But great place to hang out for karaoke!

I ordered 3 brisket platters, thru a delivery service. The delivery service never showed to pick up the food so we called SPs Smokehouse, found out that we paid at SPs, so we picked up the food, brang it home to eat. Angie, who answered the phone was very nice and helpful. The food was very good. The brisket was tender, and there was a good portion of it. Definitely satisfied. I would suggest you try it.

Great bartenders and wings. Nachos and burgers are also good. The page is also a good place to find some friendly conversation. Beer prices are reasonable.
This is a nice little gem on Smithfield Road. Their food is delicious! We had the chili cheese fries, and they were delicious!!!! Good little lunch spot! Also, Billy the owner is very friendly!!!! We will be coming back!!!!

The service was terrible. We would have stayed and had a couple more beers but no one would come back by the table. My husband ordered the Chili Rellenos but they were actually hot poppers. So he was going to order again being this was our supper. Took forever to get a menu and even longer for them to come back so we just asked for the check and left.

I just left Sports Bar , food was good it was my first time there , only problem is there wasn't one waitress with a mask on.. wasn't to sure what to get to eat so she's leaning into me and telling me what's good on the menu, which i think is so rude and gross because she was close the whole time with no mask also i'm more than sure she was either drinking or on drugs because of the way she was acting .. again food was great but i would like to feel more safe if i know there taking this virus more serious.
