I really enjoyed the catfish. I only wish they'd give 2 pieces for the price. My husband liked the blackeyed peas and my son raved about the yams. A little pricey but definitely worth trying. I'll buy the catfish again.

Had wanted to try this place since moving from KS. Then Covid. Today we did carryout with a 30 min drive home, but it was hot and delicious upon arrival! Biggest piece of catfish cooked to perfection, sides all fantastic, ( you get 2, we chose fries, mac n cheese, rice & gravy, cole slaw, one had fresh yeast rolls and the other to-die-for hush puppies). Did a call ahead order and the gentleman was very kind and helpful! You walk up a small ramp to a pickup window. They are practicing Covid precautions and have a 96 rating for cleanliness! Very reasonable price and generous portions. Hubby would have liked more than 2 hush puppies. Can't wait to go back soon.

I was so excited to try this place after reading the reviews. We got there and was greeted by the nicest lady. I don't know her name. She was taking orders through a side window. We got a variety of things like yams, rice/gravy, fries, pork chops, whiting, hushpuppies, Mac n cheese, chicken wings, & cake. Everything was bland except the pork chops. I loved those. The lemon cake wasn't good to me at all. They gave us a 1/2 gallon jug of lemonade for our drinks. We were asked if we wanted that or Kool-Aid. Lol. That was different. I live far from this place, so I won't be making a special trip to come back. If I'm in the area, I may come back for their pork chops & rice/gravy.
