Riverview Restaurant

This is absolutely one of the most beautiful locations on the East Coast/Wilmington area. I’m a wedding and event floral designer and planner and any chance I get to design and collaborate with this venue on weddings and events I jump on! Breathtaking views of the intracoastal, delicious food and friendly customer service, all make for a great experience!!

Our first time having dinner here. Food is outsanding!!! The view is a spot you'll never forget if your able to get table on deck. The Capefear River is the location of this restaurant. It's a short distance from ocean front and Fort Fisher. You feel at home with this restraunt. Put on list of stops along NC. Beaches. Don't forget the food on menu... Fried oysters were cooked to perfection. Homemade slaw was realy good.

Brown family here placed an order for 4 including adult drinks. Big tab (over $100) plus a good tip since you pay first then receive your food. Other kind who ordered after us got their food first. I ordered the Mahi mahi wedge salad. Recommend 0//10….$17 without tax. Look at the posted pictures from the “others” of the same meal. There’s more but I’ll reserve. Do NOT recommend for my people.

We stopped here after the beach and immediately loved it. Beautiful views, really good drinks and food. The Riverview platter was really yummy, I usually don’t like my seafood fried but this was breaded in corn flour so not heavy or greasy. Just an all around good experience. I could stay there all day. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in town.

Great views, do not order the mahi tacos for $17. It’s 95 percent slaw and maybe some tidbits of mahi, but I couldn’t see them or taste them.

Hidden gem for sure. Loved the food, and the view, and the general ambiance. Really good fish/chips. The fact that it was a totally gluten free restaurant was an added bonus.

Best kept secret in Kure Beach. Super friendly staff, amazing views, delicious menu and laid back atmosphere. Exactly the dinner we were looking for, so we returned 3 times in 5 days. Will come back next time we’re in town!

Shrimp and oyster baskets were cold when they arrived. Fries overcooked and cold. Food was bland. $50 dollars for two baskets and two sodas. Overpriced for what it was. But nice view
