2nd Street Cafe-LaGrange Reviews
Had a quick lunch today - first time trying 2nd Street and was very pleased. Very quick and friendly service and great lunch!
We have been ordering take-out weekly every since they first opened. They have never gotten our order correct not once, and half the time the portions are so small that it is disheartening.
We have honestly tried to give them a chance, but although the food is ok, they continually disappoint us in their service.
Sorry to say, they’re not going to last in La Grange, especially if they have to depend our future patronage. cp
My grandmother wanted to try this restaurant in LaGrange, so I brought her in for lunch today. Unfortunately, our experience did not match the photos posted online. The food looked completely different from what we were served.

2nd Street Cafe-LaGrange is a nice little cafe with friendly staff and great menu options. Service is exceptional, with servers having a vibrant energy, a great attitude, and being very friendly and happy to help. The food is delicious. The brisket sandwich was EXCELLENT. The onion rings and boom boom sauce were very good. The club sandwich was good, but with the sourdough bread it was too thick. The steak sub was amazing. The BLT was perfect, full of bacon and tomato with lightly toasted bread. The vegetable beef soup had chunks of beef and an excellent flavor. The bacon grilled cheese had plenty of bacon and cheese. The House Chips are amazing. The restaurant is clean and the experience is prompt and pleasant. However, the high prices may be a factor for some, and the place was empty mid day on a Sunday.
