We had the tortellini and it was honestly one of the best pasta dishes we've ever had. The only reason we gave atmosphere 4 stars was because we were seated by the window and right outside was a cart full of dirty dishes between us and the view.

Service was great, food was very good. Dining room was very cozy with a separate bar room. We visited twice during our visit and both times were great. We had a view of where the lake will be next year. lol

We went on a day with a limited menu. Ordered the chicken wings and they did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and joyfully interactive with our 3 young children. Great tasting food and enjoyable experience all around.

Very good! Service great 👍

Kind of limited choices really so check their online menu. Good choice of craft and other beers, plus full bar. We had wings that were good and meaty. Had a honey hot pepperoni pizza and it was very good. Since the lake is drained down the view was crappy.

Poor service, long wait times, and convince me the pizza isn’t made in a microwave! Seriously, not a great place to eat. The food wasn’t that good, and they either didn’t have enough people on staff or the service was just that poor. They also completely left off the order for one person in our party and it took them another 25 minutes to bring an order of chicken tenders.

Saturday night 5/31 we stopped in at 8:40pm and asked when the kitchen closed, we were told 9pm. We had just drove in from Asheville and we were hungry, We wanted to sit outside so the man working the door just told us to go out and find a table and he would follow us, which he did. We sat and he placed our menu's and left. We sat there for about 15 minutes and saw our waiter come and go but never came by our table, The atmosphere was very nice, the view even with the work on the lake was nice too. It was just a very disappointing experience all around. I could not give a good score for service, we never had any and because of that could not give a good score for food. Felt like we didn't exist

Have been here 3 years in a row with minimal change in quality. Feels like a ripoff every time, but previously the convenience of eating right by the water was enough to make it a reasonable choice. The food quality has been consistently inconsistent at best, some dishes have been reasonably good while others taste as though a withering, flavor blind Polish grandmother had the idea of becoming the head chef, and it feels like a gamble ordering something new. The pizza I had my first time at the place was genuinely something out of a comedy skit, and there was so much arugula on it that they forgot to put the sauce on the pizza.. I really want to be as nice as reasonably possible given the situation with Helene, but this was a consistent problem two years ago and still is today.
The tomato bisque is so heavy with cream as to be almost completely indedible, lacking almost any flavor beyond it and the tomatos, and was one of very few dishes in my life that I genuinely haven't been able to choke down for a clean plate. The grilled cheese sandwich that came with it was lukewarm when it reached the table, with chewy bacon (microwaved?), and tasted mostly of grease. Maybe not the easiest dish to make (few can truly make a decent soup or sandwich, right??)
Despite all this, I can't help but touch on the good parts of the place!
The fish is generally well prepared and seasoned, although not always as fresh as you would expect for the price asked, and the stromboli was very good for reasons unbeknownst but to the kitchen and god, considering the painfully indedible pizza I have received not once but thrice.
The place seems to have a problem of teetering on the edge of a mid-end dining restaurant and a glorified bar room tourist trap that makes due because of convenient location, and the prices fit right in, feeling far too expensive for the quality of food and atmosphere. Its like some knucklehead is trying to artificially raise profit because of a faltering customer base, and this has clearly been a problem for at least the last three years I have eaten here as the prices have not budged noticeably.

I rarely have great enough displeasure with a location that it leads to a negative review as sometimes a single bad review is enough to turn off the next customer, but truthfully I feel similarly conned trying to get food and drinks at an amusement park and would prefer tourist traffic to use their money more wisely and try one of the local small businesses for dinner instead.
