Stopped in here after a day of hiking at Grayson Highlands — and what an amazing find! Friendly staff and very tasty sammies. We got the Mauvine’s Melt and the titular Lair’s Club to go and went down the road to Molley Chomper cidery to eat and drink. A true WNC gem!

Great little place. The inside was clean and they had a good selection of beers. We had the BLT sandwich and the Maverick (Roast beef). The food was delicious. They do takeout and we were able to eat it at the park across the street.

I've never been more moved by a Turkey sandwich before. But wow. It was delicious. The people at the counter had the best attitude. So cheerful and helpful. I love the vibes in this place! This is a must stop for anyone coming to Lansing.
Great little spot in downtown Lansing. The pimento cheese, AMAZING! Try the Liars Bench club or turkey and Gouda, sooo good!! Very inviting space and the staff was awesome!! A must if in the Boone area! 10/10

I enjoyed having lunch with friends at The Liar's Bench. I ordered the Roast Beef sandwich and it was loaded and tasty. I tried the local beer, Jooce. It was a nice day so we sat outside overlooking the river park and view of the beautiful fall trees. I will be back to visit the bar and hear local music at night.

Sad....just sad ?. One young man behind the counter was decent as for the rest they looked at me like I smelled bad. Rude people! ? I had had an awful day and thought this would be a good place to sit and maybe blow off some steam but instead I was ignored and ended up leaving upset ?. Y'all don't get anymore of my hard earned money. Further more I will make sure to spread the word!
