“Cider was decent. We came here share loving the cider at a fest. Confirmed I'm more is a fan of their semi sweet ciders even thought I typically like dry or semi dry ciders vs sweet. Cute set up. You can bring in food but they have snacks. Service was great!”

“This has been such a welcome needed update to a forgotten piece of history. Not only have they brought fresh ideas and unfiltered taste and an abundance of flavor back to our little town but they have showered us with the nicest most genuine people to help discover these new finds. I’ve stopped in several times and never has it been a bad experience. Christmas is a delight with the best gifts from here. I must say if your a reader than this too is the best place to relax with a cup of wine, beer or coffee and a relaxing atmosphere. Thanks for breathing life back into our little corner of Lansing.”

“Picked up breakfast from Country House this morning. We are in town visiting and wanted something tasty. Ordered a nice spread... pancakes, French toast, eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, etc. It was delicious! Classic, home-cooked meal. Tastes like it came from granny's kitchen. Prepared quickly and with care. It was also inexpensive, which helps a lot when you're a family of five. Looking forward to trying some lunch/dinner options because I'm sure it will be just as good. If you're in Lansing or just passing through, be sure to stop by the Country House!”

“Picked up an order on Friday, I got the brisket plate with baked beans and tater tots. Everything was excellent, the brisket was so tender it just melts in your mouth. I have eaten here many times and have never had a bad meal. Kristen always provides excellent service and is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. A must try while in Ashe county.”

“It is on the more expensive side, but it's worth it! The turkey melt had a tad of a kick to it, so good. Visiting Jefferson while my husband is at a job up the road. “The Cuban sandich was excellent, prepared perfectly. The pork empanadas were just spicy enough and paired with black beans and rice made it a perfect meal. Plantains finish off perfectly.”

“Bobby D's is a great place for pizza, sandwiches, and pasta dishes. Mostly take-out, but there is a counter and stools for eating there. The atmosphere is fun and quirky. The 4 stars is because the rail/banister in front is too short.”

The pancakes are great. Their Thanksgiving dinner was delicious. Sweet potato casserole was so good I had to get extra to go!”

“Greek chicken sandwich was absolutely amazing. My husband had the Italian, delicious he said. We asked someone on the street where they would recommend, without hesitation they pointed to Sweet and Savory, said we must try the roasted red pepper soup. We were not disappointed. The wait for food was very well worth it, the reason for the wait, they make it fresh to order. So please be patient with these hard working employees. They are working hard to serve you their heart full of love in food. By the way, the couple who recommended Sweet and Savory, came in for lunch before my husband and I left.”

“Stopped in here for a late lunch with my teen and toddler. We were greeted on entry and quickly seated. The waitress came promptly and she was very nice. The menu is a bit extensive, one will need a few minutes to decide as they have a wide variety to choose from.The complimentary chips were fresh, the salsa I expected more. If it was prepared fresh would have been so much better. The white bean dip was just OK.The food was not hot, the portion was decent but the beans tou could count. When I see rice and beans that is exactly what I expect.The tamales were not very good at all. Probably just different from what we have previously ate at other places.I also felt there was a lack of flavor for a Mexican restaurant.Not an expensive place and we loved the decor.Would visit again, if it is even to find the best thing on the menu.Parking: This restaurant is located in a shopping plaza with various stores.”

“Very nice coffee shop and I was appreciative that they were open so early on a Sunday. Lots of varying seating options (small tables, large tables, couches) and friendly service. The apple pie latte was a little too sweet for me, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I’d suggest adding more food options other than bagels (i.e., granola or cereal bars, small bites to hold people over until the other restaurants open).”

I’ve done tons of trading with these guys dealing in pokemon and they’ve always offered good return prices.They occasionally get in unique collectible collections and sell at great prices, I’ve never dealt in any of their games and comics, but what I’ve seen seems like market or below prices, so great deals all around.Matthew is amazing, he’s the reason for the season. “I had pumpkin spice ice cream from here 3 weeks ago and loved it! I came back yesterday (2 hour drive from my house for a weekend getaway) and they had sold out but I was told to check back today. I went back today and they were still out. The sweet girl working told me she would take my number and let me know if any came in. Within 30 minutes she called me and said that it had been delivered. “I have visited three times and every time the place was busy. The food is standard cafe fare and served on disposable dishes. Try the chocolate gravy if you have never heard of it. It is served with biscuit(s) and is sweet. It is perfect to finish off your savory breakfast dish. There is nothing fancy here, just friendly people who treat you like neighbors. They do not take credit or debit cards.”

“As previous owners of Southern Scoops and Sandwiches we finally got a chance to stop by to try the New owners Menu.I had the Bang Bang Shrimp that came with fries and slaw it was tasty . My Husband ordered the Chicken Sirachi Sandwich which came with 2 huge pieces of chicken with fries . Which he said was very good. We finished lunch with our favorite Hershey Ice Cream ?
