Love that Grateful Roots calls Leicester home. The Caprese Panini sandwich is my go-to from the deli. And we love the selection of local goods at this family-owned business. After Helene, Grateful Roots was one of the first places we could get to that was open and had groceries. So they will always hold a special place in my heart.

The moment you walk in the doors you are greeted by a wonderful Staff, very friendly & professional! We always get there sliced deli meats, produce & we can't leave without picking a dessert to go. I recommend this place!!

This is just a lovely place to walk into. You are always warmly greeted by either the owners or one of their awesome employees. I've been coming here on and off for around 6 months now and I've absolutely falling in love with it! I typically choose food that is brought in from the farms in the area. What can I say - it is absolutely delicious! As an example, I got a breakfast sandwich which was made with all local farm ingredients, including the bread and the spread which was made fresh by the owners that morning. I asked for all the veggies and the sandwich was so large I could barely get my mouth around it! It was truly one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had! If I lived here all the time, I would shop here every week. And I would definitely eat here once a week! it's a treasure you much try!

Great little market in a food desert area. Paninis are delish, we always get the T.A.B. with the broccoli salad side. While your order is being prepared you can shop in the market for local goods and groceries. Always friendly service.

This place is consistently amazing. The food in the cafe is delicious. The market local options are sourced from great brands including local Asheville businesses and farms. As a Leicester local this place is one of our gems out here. When we couldn’t get eggs at Ingles and other grocery stores they had them here!

I live in Leicester and just found this place for the first time. The staff was so incredibly kind. I am gluten and dairy free and they were very helpful and accommodating. I got the tuscan chicken sandwich with modifications as needed and it was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be coming back!
