Hi

The Turkey, Bacon, Avocado (TaB) is soooo delicious!
Tried the Better Booch kombucha, Mango Delight & for mango lovers, it hit the spot. More tart than sweet, tho.
Grateful Roots also have lots of affordable snacks & a small selection of unique local gifts.
Highly recommend!

Kid-friendliness: Coloring books for the kids. Plus ice cream, kid friendly snack & local sodas.
Waynesville Soda Jerks is my all time favorite soda maker!

You can feel the gratitude for our community by tasting these yummy goods made by well-intended locals. This is a great place to pick up a meal if you're going to work or on your way to hiking trails. Call ahead if on the go or stop in to have a bite. Connect to their free wifi, if you need to.

This place was suggested by our Inn keeper. Great breakfast and lunch sandwiches! Had the TAB and my partner had the Grateful Club and the two days later we had the egg and bacon sandwiches with a black coffee. Others items that we took home and were delish were the coffee cake and Siso bread. Please tell this man we need his coffee cake recipe ? ? and to top it off the two ladies making and serving our food were so kind. Great experience for us out of towners visiting from Riverview, Florida
Thank you

"The little country store that could "
Somewhat unassuming, but so we'll situated at a crossroads, has lots of easy parking and, most importantly, great food, sandwiches and more, stuff that you needed to pick up on your way home and treats like yummy roasted peanuts.
They owners and staff are great, hard working, always welcoming and accommodating people who try to cater to the community and support local products.
Surprisingly, they are not as expensive as one might expect.
Love it, strongly encourage you to stop in and check out their wares.

Had a home made, delicious, fresh gluten free panini at this place. Was pleasantly surprised to find a GF/dairy-free dessert as a bonus!

Charming place with healthy options for a quick bite.

Vegetarian options: I got a veggie panini that was made on Gluten Free bread. Friendly staff.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and dairy free options available. Vegetarian options available.

Parking: Few spots in front of shop.

The absolute best sandwiches, served by great people. It's a good way out leicester highway but worth the drive. I HIGHLY suggest the Tuscan sooo good, on my list of best sandwiches ever.

The food is good, a little expensive, eclectic variety, the lady behind the counter, Murphy has the personality of a door knob, not very welcoming, point of contact makes a difference for return business

Great little store with lots of local options. We enjoyed the local sodas. The peaches were very nice and fresh

The deli/restaurant portion was fantastic. The quality matches the price. They use high quality, local ingredients. It was fresh and had wonderful flavor, clearly made with care. We really enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches, and the grateful club. But everything we had we really enjoyed. It was filling without being too heavy. It wasn't greasy, and it gave us good energy. It was perfect before and after a hike.

The desserts were also very tasty, not too sweet and you can tell that they are made with good quality ingredients. The Amish ice cream, especially the vanilla, was so good. The oatmeal craisin creme cookie was a great treat, particularly when hiking. Both slices of cake we ate, had a homemade goodness to them. They were very delicious, without being too sweet or too heavy.

We will definitely be back!

Vegetarian options: They have tempeh options

Dietary restrictions: They can accommodate gluten free

Parking: Mid sized, about ten cars, gravel parking lot right in front of the store.
