Came here tonight, April 4th, and got seated within 5 minutes. Our server came up promptly and we ordered drinks and our kids food. Kids food came out within 10 minutes but drinks were nowhere to be found. 30 minutes later, still nothing. We were seated right next to the bar, and could see the bartender pouring at her leisure. Waiting 30+ minutes for one round of drinks with a half empty restaurant is ridiculous. Our server was gracious enough to cancel the drinks, remove them from our bill, and apologize multiple times. Obviously not the servers fault, but the lazy bartender who does not know how to manage a bar and service tickets

Terrible service. All of the employees blame each other for the horrible service. Waited 2 hrs for our food. Waited 30 min before anyone even came over to say hello. They were out of napkins, out of Pepsi, and a few other items on the menu. Only good thing that happened was we got all our food for free. We were a party of 8. I will never go there again.

Server never brought the silverware nor any kind of napkins. I had to ask the host for the silverware. But they never brought me anything for wiping. The only time server came by was to take order & dropped off the food. He never came back to check to see if I needed anything. I think he expected me to eat pasta with my hands then wipe my hands & mouth with my shirts.

Arrived at 3:35PM on Saturday. Feb 8, 2025. There were maybe 15-20 patrons and several waiter/waitresses standing around chatting. We waited 10 minutes to be seated, then sat us in a table that was wet. We moved to an adjacent ‘dry’ table, then waited almost 15 minutes and no one came to even ask what we wanted to drink. We finally left as it was obvious no one wanted to work. We’ve always enjoyed Applebee’s for cocktails and lunch, however, based on the lack of service we won’t be back - Needs someone to better manage the establishment!

After walking in, we were finally greeted after a few minutes. The hostess asked us if we were ok with a table. Due to back issues I said we would rather have a booth. She rolled her eyes and proceeded to clean a table off and then came back and seated us at a table. Why ask if you didn’t intend on giving us a booth? The. We sat there for about 15 minutes waiting for a waitress to come over and asked us “do you know what you want?” Not “can I start y’all off with drinks”? She then came over and told us her shift was ending so she passed us off to another waiter. He was great and was very attentive. The hostess, not sure if she was having a bad day or what, but very rude.

NO MUSTARD FOR YOUR CHEESE BURGER. THEY FINALLY GOT 2 SMALL PACKAGE. Walmart right behind them
This Applebees location (Leland NC) has been showing signs of severe lack of management . Not sure how far up the ladder it goes. The wait time just for a drink from the not busy bar is up to 20 minutes. The waitress is continuously apologizing for the waiting of drinks. Appetizers etc. The burgers were ordered came out late. Cold. No fries with them. The fries eventually came out. Warm. Overall experience is terrible. I gave the waitress a higher tip then normal just because she is in between management and customer and constantly having to apologize for APPLEBEES failures. I’m never going back.

I have been here before and the food is awesome but this time when I came the waiter didn’t come to our table after passing us multiple times and so we didn’t even get to meet the waiter so we didn’t get a chance to get our food and where we sat it was freezing.

Came here last night with my fiancé for dinner. Not a good choice. Our food was horrible. From the appetizer to the entrees. App was soggy unflavored and undone. Mozzarella sticks were damn near cold on the inside but almost black on the outside, which indicates that they haven’t changed their oil yet and needs to. The boneless chicken wings was oily. The artichoke dip was warm and tasteless. I ordered ribs Mac and fries. Mac was oily fries were soggy. My fiancé irderrd salmon broccoli and garlic mash potatoes. Mash potatoes were giddy and had no flavor, broccoli was soggy and had no flavor as well. Only good thing was the service. Our server was very nice. But I paid over $80 for crappy food. Not very happy about that.

short as possible. been to this location 3 times. there’s no help to properly serve customers. waited 20 mins for take out service. no one ever took my order walked out. tried calling for take out. no one ever answered. when it was possible to complete an order, steak was similar to jerky on take out order. gave to my dogs. complaint to applebees customer service went ok, but franchise in leland as expected never called back.
