Very cute little breakfast (or lunch) spot. Friendly service, and they don’t skimp on the serving and quality of food. Some of the best Hollandaise I’ve had.

It was yummy! We were visiting the area for the day and decided to checkout the Farmhouse Kitchen. It was absolutely worth it and Shane, our server, made us feel like we were having breakfast with old friends. Our eggs were cooked perfectly and our Irish coffee was perfectly made! We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Good food selection and all made fresh. Had to wait 10 minutes for a group of 6 but it's absolutely worth it!

I love going here. Our family loves this one waiter, but I don’t know his name, but he’s super funny and friendly. The foods great too! I love how they split and fry the biscuits for the sausage and gravy

We went here today and the service was above and beyond, we had the pleasure of having Shane as our waiter and his attention to detail, his outgoing personality made the experience 100x better, while the dishes were had were very good and we enjoyed every bit of it, the service was the home run, we also got to meet Patty who was also wonderful and had a great personality, they should be recognized for the customer service they provided, something that doesn't seem that important anymore, they made it a priority

Stopped by chance on way back from beach on a Sunday AM. Sign said have patience as they were short staffed. Had no delay being seated or served. Hostess saw we had a little one and produced a coloring book and crayons. Food was great and generous portions. Staff was excellent, especially Tony. Very friendly and made us feel welcomed.

Very busy on Sunday before noon. Had to wait for seating. Sunday menu is only breakfast, no lunch served besides grilled cheese. Veggie Omelette delicious and I couldn’t eat it all. Everyone loved their food. Staff was very nice. They have 6 tables outside which would have been helpful, but it’s rainy today.

2025 Fall- perfect service, terrific food and extremely clean! Our waitress was extremely proficient!
The Ruben was pretty tough. Everything else was fantastic.
We enjoy the food, and being able to have the plates cleared from the table BEFORE we get our bill.

Turn off the news! Nothing turns your stomach more than looking at Donald Trump on the TV when you're trying to eat breakfast!!!

Had a very much overcooked western omelette. The eggs were definitely on the heat too long and either the green peppers, red peppers and onion were cooked beforehand or their breakfast. Staff was just angry at the vegetation. Fully caramelized completely soft. The vegetation would be better suited for a fajita than a western omelette. Really good sweet tea and an excellent biscuit. Customer service was on point. In all fairness, I did not voice my displeasure, I am sure if I had they would’ve been to her backwards to fix it.

I really only post 4 and 5 star reviews, I've worked in enough restaurants and bars to know that places below that have their own troubles to worry about. And honestly, I'm more about sharing the awesome places than I am about talking trash.

That being said, Farmhouse Kitchen is my favorite breakfast place in Wilmington. Quality, excellent staff, prompt service, really the only drawback is the number of tops- but that's not necessarily a bad thing. During the season, you should expect a wait, and there's not a ton of room.

However, everything I had was fresh, top quality and well executed. From the fresh, strong coffee to the perfectly made grilled biscuits, the kitchen was on point. And the prices are very reasonable- you would pay more at a chain restaurant for less.
