Homey Lunch counter, table and booth seating. Great food made by the owner herself! Hot and fresh made to order. Friendly customers all around.
I went for a burger and was not disappointed!!! GREAT Burger !!!! Tipped $5 for server and cook!!! Next time I'm getting a double! It was sooo good!!!!
It was a good diner experience. People were friendly and food was quite good. We had dinner there.
I had breakfast at Gaylyns‘s this morning for the first time, and it was absolutely outstanding. I have lived in Leland for over 20 years and did not even know that it was there. I would definitely make a point of trying this out, I know I will be returning as a regular. People are friendly. Customer service is excellent. I highly recommend it. It reminds me of the diners I used to love when I lived in New Jersey. Check it out.
This is my first time being here. But I will tell you this is an awesome place to come eat. The food is wonderful. The waitresses are excellent and wonderfully nice. The whole atmosphere is just like going home.
The food was okay. Order at 10:38 the food was finally ready at 11:30. I was told it was a 20 minute wait. Was willing to wait bc we wanted to support this local place. But this place can't handle the business it needs to stay open. I was in there and most tables were full and bar had 4 ppl. Mind you there are 6-7 tables in the place so a max of 15 - 20 people. They are trying but it just looks like they don't truly know how to handle being busy. The cooks are running food instead of the servers which causes constant stopping of food being cooked. They don't drop tickets with the food they pile up there tickets which led to confusion and more time spent cashing ppl out then needed when busy. I unfortunately don't think this place will make it considering what kind of business they will need to stay open and the fact people are not going to keep sticking around for 45-60 minute waits for okay food
Got there at 1:08 and ordered at 1:09 then sat and waited until 1:47 when I finally just put $2 on the table for my drink and left. 40 minutes wasted with no sign of food being ready in sight (I did watch a table that had been there before me get their food and another that still didnt get theirs). 2 employees just randomly walked around the kitchen, I work in a resurant too but they could see if theres anything they can do to expedite food. Wanted to support local but I eventually have work and places to be.

These ladies know how to cook!
This place has a wonderful breakfast! I'm proud to support this American family business.
It's very convenient to stop in, get supplies and an affordable breakfast before a day in the field or on the water
New friends everytime I go in

Stopped here for some brunch during our sons soccer tournament. Both women behind the counter were extremely friendly, and the food was all fresh, home-made, and absolutely delicious. Love sitting at a place like a local diner and hearing the locals talk and laugh while eating. Fantastic quick brunch experience. Will come here again for sure next time we are in Wilmington.

Yes, the diner is inside the gas station. Yes, it is a great place for breakfast and there's no insane wait times like every other breakfast place. Nice to be able to support a local business and get a fresh cooked breakfast.
