We ordered food last night from the location in Leland. We have always enjoyed their food. Last night both my husband and myself had a terrible reaction to the food. He said all the employees were wearing masks and it did not cover their faces. He wondered if they had all been sick because we had never seen them do that before. I have to say I was in pain and in the bathroom for hours. Just terrible!

ALLERGY WARNINGādo not go to this restaurant if you have any seafood allergies!
Ordered a Hibachi Steak meal and specifically said, ācan you please cook my hibachi steak order separately to accommodate my shrimp allergy?ā The cashier said āyes,ā but then I saw what appeared to be my order being made (as it was not busy at the time) and they were making it with shrimp instead of steak!
I immediately alerted the person making the food behind the counter that if that was supposed to be my order, it was incorrect and incredibly dangerous to me. They informed it was, in fact, my order and I said I would not be eating that meal or any others from this restaurant.
They apologized and offered to remake my order, but I felt uncomfortable and unsafe accepting food from an establishment that had misinterpreted my request for food allergy accommodations so severely that they would have served me an entire meal of the very allergen I had requested them to avoid.
I am thankful that I could see the food being made and did not unwittingly take a biteāI might have experienced anaphylaxis which would have required me to use my epi-pen and subsequently go to the hospital.
Do not trust this restaurant if you have food allergies!

First time getting it and didnāt even get what I ordered very disappointing
Staff is inadequate in helping with placing to go orders. Hibachi chicken with veggies was ordered but, I was told they only offer mushrooms as a veggie at an extra charge upon picking up the food. Like what? They offer other veggies on the online menu offerings. The price for the steak hibachi bowl is ridiculous for the serving size and quality. Upon calling the establishment to try to resolve this matter, the manager stated they offer mushrooms as the vegetable. I was like no... who orders vegetables and thinks š¤ oh, this is just mushrooms. That would be an order of meat with mushrooms not vegetables. I won't be back. I spent 80 some bucks for 4 meals. What a joke. Don't get me wrong I don't mind paying for food but, get my order right.
Save your money and hit up Indiochine Express next door.

Iv never sat inside and ate i always get it to go but aside from the food being delicious, it's always right and always what I ordered and asked for. Unfortunately nowadays that's something we have to worry about when that used to just b apart of being a restaurant. As I stated tho they get it right every time and the quality of food is always great as well as the portions. Staff is always friendly and quick and they provide an excellent atmosphere. If anyone was perfect they would get all the stars but this place is one of the few in the area that could almost get all the stars

I will start off by saying I am a regular at this mayabi jr location, always order the hibachi chicken. I get home after driving 20 minutes there and 20 minutes back home only to find that they had given me teriyaki. No big deal I call to let them know and hopefully receive a refund as that is not what I ordered but Warren said they could not refund me because there worker āthinks they remember me ordering a teriyakiā which is now calling me a liar. After ordering over 50 hibachi chicken entrees I do know not to ask for a teriyaki chicken. Warren then says all they can do is swap it out if I drive another 40 minutes before they close. Thank you Warren for such a pleasant experience.
