Thus was our first time visiting and it was a lovely experience. Very charming and present little breakfast place. The staff was very welcoming and service was perfect. Food was fresh and delicious. I was very surprised with very generous portions. Great job! We will be back. 🫶🌻

Always busy on the weekends, but the weekends are the best time to go! Order your burger a little more well done than you normally like it and you'll be set. Friendly servers, lots of things to choose from, and a full bar.

I’ve been coming here for breakfast for months and always had great service—until today. The restaurant has a mix of seating: 2 circle tables, 3 two-tops, and the rest are booths or four-tops. There were two of us, and we had already been waiting about 15 minutes when a couple with two small children came in. Within about 5 minutes their buzzer went off and they were seated, even though we had been waiting much longer.
I went to the hostess stand and asked why they were seated before us. The young girl handling the wait list told me that larger parties get seated quicker. That didn’t make sense, since the tables available could just as easily seat two—there were already multiple two-tops occupied when we arrived.
While we were eating, I noticed the same thing happen again. Two other parties walked in, and were seated right away when the dining room opened up—while other waiting parties were skipped over.
It’s frustrating to see the wait list handled so unfairly. Someone needs to teach the staff how to manage seating properly, because this was definitely not the great service I’ve come to expect here.
JC was our waiter, great service- 5 starts to him!
Quaint little restaurant that stays open until 8 PM on Thursdays. Their Thursday dinner menu changes every week. On this particular Thursday evening, I had the shrimp with cheese ravioli and my wife had the prime rib with au jus, green beans and loaded baked potato. Both meals were very well prepared and delicious. If you haven't found or tried New Day Cafe for their Thursday dinner, l suggest you add them to your list.
It gets busy fast on Thursday evenings since that is the only day New Day Cafe stays open until 8 PM. Please note there is a 3.5% fee for paying with a card. Based on the tables I saw, I recommend no more than 5 to a group (just my opinion/suggestion).

Joined some friends here, what a wonderful brunch.
So much food though, truly did not eat until the next day. Great 3 egg omelet, bacon, toast, hash potatoes. Just delicious. Very friendly gentleman server, clean restaurant just a really enjoyable meal.

Easily the best restaurant in Leland, everything I've ever eaten here has been good, and the specials always change and are executed well. Prices are good too considering the quality of the food.

Kim was a great waitress! Food excellent. Music/Radio was way too loud and annoying. Our food hadn't come yet and we wanted to leave. Not sure we will go back because of it. It is a shame because they are clean, service excellent and food yummy. People had to talk loud over the radio noise 😥. We aren't old either 😄

Friday late August, very few people in the restaurant and yet they can't hold on to your check while you're eating they got to shove it in your face. Never order your burger the way you want it you'll have to order it more cooked, and when it comes out raw somebody will argue with you that it's not, then they will take that same burger and put it back on the grill bringing you back some dry piece of leather how hard is it to make a new burger? Are you that cheap that you can't figure out how to cook a burger, use a meat thermometer, and if it's sent back because it's raw don't ruin it and put it back on the grill. Gross! They used to have nice pictures and jazz on the big TV in the main dining room but now it's news so that will also upset your stomach. This is not the place to go during the week at all!
This is one of our favorite breakfast places. The corned beef is slow roasted and sliced with beautiful over easy eggs on top of hash browns and Hollandaise sauce yum yum. The specials are always good, the service is always quick and friendly, if it is Kaylee or Avrie. Weekend breakfast is always busy because everybody knows.... this is the place to go for tender corned beef, and eggs done properly. Don't go during the week though it's not even close to the same!
