The best chicken and sauces! I was craving BBQ and the local place was closed so I decided to give this place a try. I had driven by it many times in the past but never gate it a try. But I know I needed that BBQ flavor satisfied so I did. I am soooooo glad I did. The chicken is delicious. It has that smokey flavor with the right amount of spice on it. You could eat the chicken alone. But then the sauces.....yum! They have 6 different sauces and are so good. I did not get any sides so I can't speak to that. Yes the pricing is a bit higher than we'd all like but that's inflation people. This will now become a weekly regular for me. Just take my money!
Good place, delicious chicken flavor. We ordered I think it was half chicken white no dark chicken. It comes with 2 side dishes. We love dark beans, plátano frito and Yuca.

It's the prices. Alpaca in Wilmington is the same food. Much more reasonable prices even side extras. Large green sauce 12$. Large green sauce at alpaca. 5$. That's wild. Friendly staff though.

We literally just walked out of the door. It says Peruvian food, but the only thing that tasted anything close to Peruvian food was the yucca, but how can you mess that up! My husband got chicken and rice…he said the rice tasted like instant rice. I got the vegan saltado, it was not good at all!! Saltado doesn’t come with peas and carrots, let alone the avocado they put on top. I literally got a plate of just fries, which by the way were frozen battered seasoned (supposed to be hand cut, plain fries), a little onion and tomato, and loaded with peas and carrots. I will NOT be returning. Please, if you’re going to cook some Peruvian food, at least he the ingredients correct.

It was good but the Dark Chicken sometimes red from inside and that’s mean it wasn’t cooked well and the rice was good but it wasn’t enough You should put more rice

Just traveling through and popped in for some lunch. This place is incredible. We got the chicken tacos. The meat was flavored well and juicy the rice was amazing. Loved their sauces. Hope to stop again if I am ever in town.

This is a good place to eat with fun daily specials and excellent drinks and some good desserts. While roasted chicken is their staple everything g I have had here is very tasty. I recommend get a horchata to drink with your meal. While their hours say they close at 9 last time I arrive around 715 -730 all there sides had been put away and they were starting to clean up. Still made me good food but go earlier because the sides are delicious.

At one time this place was good. I stopped going because the food started to be sloppy. Outside seating area is nothing spectacular and could be made to be a lot better. Tables rock and drinks spill. Again, preparation of food is very sloppy.

I love papis chicken. Very generous portions and all the food is fantastic! Great chicken and great sauces. I eat here atleast 1 or 2 times a month. Much better than the other Peruvian chicken places I've tried in wilmington. Very nice portion for the price. Staff is usually pretty nice as well.
