San Felipe Mexican Restaurant

Came to Leland San Felipe 7-20 and had an amazing experience! Their staff and is kind and attentive, food came out very quick and was delicious, and the inside is tastefully decorated. Will definitely be back!

I've been eating here for years, but unfortunately for the last time today as my past few visits have been disappointing. At 11:30 am on a Tuesday I had to request a lunch menu. Seems they're trying to upsell dinner plates. My waiter barely spoke to me and was very unwelcoming. The chips and salsa used to taste so fresh. Today the salsa was watered down and the chips were dark from old oil. The enchilada sauce was so watered down none remained on the top of the enchilada but rather in pools on the sides in which my undercooked quesadilla was laid in to become soggy. The rice wasn't even good - bland and overcooked, perhaps reheated. The ground beef tasted of very poor quality and was greasy. Sadly I'll need to find a new Mexican spot as this place which was once a favorite is now a no-go.

I use to love this place, but it has changed so much. My honest opinion, overrated and over priced. Go to Santa Clara for delicious Mexican Food in Leland NC

Service was fast and the margaritas were delicious. Food tasted good but was really disappointed in the serving size. Ordered a quesadilla that was 18$ and it was the size of a soft taco. Never been to a Mexican restaurant that we don’t have to go boxes.

The food was just ok, our server forgot about us and they would not honor one of their coupons from the attraction book. Do better.

We always come here on our Anniversary,Birthdays and of course other times .We always have excellent food, service and the atmosphere is good my only request would be for them to have a bigger restaurant and not as dark inside. Other than that the atmosphere is good, I always enjoy the very fast service and friendly environment! We love this place.

Waiters and waitresses are very unprofessional and extremely rude. Chips tasted like it had a chemical, we were told that’s all they had and we would not get anymore.
Waiter did not give everyone a chance to order drinks. My party and I were passed off to another waitress, said waitress jerked menus out of hands. When tried to explain to manager, my party and I were dismissed.
Granted I have been here before and service was great, this time not so much. Careful with what day you attend.

Atmosphere and service is top notch! Host was accommodating, server and kitchen staff were very on point. I ordered a fajita chicken chimichanga(which doesn't come with the grilled veggies in it like the shredded chicken does, I found out) but when I brought up the question to my server, she explained why and offered to bring me some veggies. Look at the plate of veggies!!! Yum? It was exactly what my meal needed.
