Been going by this Starbucks for literal years now. We were just there behind some AWFUL woman who was verbally abusing the Starbucks worker in the drive through because she didn't want to pay the drink price for the drink she was ordering. The barista was being so sweet and professional, but the woman told her she was going to call and complain anyway. I hope that they see this review, we told her we were sorry she was treated that way, I don't know how she wasn't in tears over that woman's attitude and the way she was speaking to her, and I do not understand the need to berate professional service workers that way. I have NEVER had a bad experience at this Starbucks, they are always kind, professional and very prompt! Thank you to this branch, it's my favorite one in the Wilmington area and I'm a regular to them all. Thank you!

I personally love this location. The employees are friendly on my daily drive through visits and they seem to have my flavors readily in stock. There's plenty of room inside to sit and do work as well.

2022 Update*** This location has really gone down hill. So sad to see. The staff is not personable at all and they are always out of everything. It seems like only one person at this location knows how to make cold brew and if they aren't in, it doesn't get done. Such a shame because they were so great with this last staff.Original Review*** While this is a Harris Teeter location, out of every Starbucks I've been to, this one has the best staff, by far. Everyone there is super friendly, attentive, and personable. Plus, they make great drinks! They ensure an outstanding experience every time.

After placing an online order at 10:06 it was very surprising to me to be waiting on one drink at 10:45 while watching other cars come to Starbucks and leave with their drink in hand.The wait didn’t bother me as much as the lack of concern from the six people who were working as to why my daughter was waiting a half hour for her drink to be made. in the interim she ordered a sandwich while sh waited. and got that but her warm drink took 30 minutes. Meanwhile they had the exact same drink waiting from another person who ordered it and was not there to get it. Half of the order was processed which was my drink and her sandwich why an entire order is not put together to be ready at the same time is anybody’s guessAt no point in time did any of the three people we told about the delay say I’m sorry about that let me see what’s happening and why it’s taking so long. I got a rude snippy attitude from the same person who kept wondering what was going on after I had told him three times. I don’t know if it’s a new staff at Starbucks because we have never had this problem there before, however this has ruined my desire to go to the Starbucks in LelandExtremely unprofessional
FYI I’ve noticed a lot of the reviews posted for this location are meant for the Starbucks across the road… people mix them up and leave bad reviews for this Starbucks when they mean the other one!! Common mistake it seems to be. This one has no drive thru, it’s in Harris Teeter, and preferably I always choose this one over the corporate location. Amiable sweet staff, better tasting drinks! Bonus, you get fuel points with your orders if you have a VIC card! Win/win. :)

They are hardly ever opened in the afternoon. Yes everyone is short staffed you don’t see every one closing at 2:30. We were in line today when the guy came out with the drive through sign with cars behind us he put the sign in front of my car and said sorry can’t help you we are closing at 2:30. WTF. Now I understand what your saying, but a normal person would have went to the last car in line which was maybe two behind me and put the sign of we are closed and finished serving out the customers that were in line to order. It’s ridiculous. Everyone is short staffed get a new excuse.
