We’ve been to this place twice now, and I have to say that I am impressed. The food is always solid, always has great flavor, and the sauce selection is peak. I also appreciate their establishment. Plenty of seating room including outdoor seating. Also I’ve been to plenty of overpriced bbq spots in the past. These guys prices are very fair for the portions they’re selling. We never leave hungry.

This is definitely gonna be a common go-to for us. Thanks for the great service and food.

Not only is the food delicious, the customer service is top tier. They always say you can tell when a business has great management. It flows throughout the business. The owners are God sent people and you just feel the love when you visit.

Stopped in today for a quick lunch knowing the restaurant had changed ownership. Wow! What an improvement. I liked the old spot but it didnt blow me away, but today, right upon walking in the place was sparkling clean, staff INCREDIBLY friendly, and my brisket sammich/collard greens came out fast. Everything was spot on, brisket moist and smokey without being over smokey, and though it might be a small thing, the bread for the brisket sandwich was outstanding. Gentleman who brought out my lunch was super kind and we chatted about NY sports for a brief moment. I was in/out in under 20 minutes and they 100 percent won me over. I will be returning very very soon.

An up and coming veteran owned and operated business that is really good. They have pork, beef, and chicken that is cooked to perfection. A very good place to eat that will make you want to come back for more!

We recently had The Pit cater a company event and they knocked it out of the park! From start to finish, everything was seamless! John made sure the food arrived right on time, set up perfectly, and most importantly ~ everything was fresh, hot and absolutely delicious! Every single person at our event raved about the BBQ and Pork Belly Burnt Ends (omg!) and the sides were the BEST! We will 100% be using them again! Highly Recommend!

The Pit is the best of the BEST! Especially if you have gluten free issues. They have a dedicated gf fryer and go the extra mile to take care of you.

Was excited to try this again under the new ownership. Around here you can’t find good brisket. I had higher hopes because the previous owners had terrible food. I didn’t have much of a different experience…. Owners: you need to figure out the brisket. It’s bad, it’s dry. Get rid of the old atmosphere of the previous restaurant. Put in new seating, get rid of the order counter, put a bar in, have some service…. Leland needs a place like that for bbq. 2nd time where the food just isn’t that good. Bland and dry. Sorry. I have faith in this place for the area, you just need to FIGURE IT OUT. You could be the first actual good bbq in the area….

New ownership. Same vibe. Locally owned. And the wings are to die for. We're here for $1 dollar smoked wings deal on Wednesday and these smoked wings are smokin!!!!!!!!! Friendly staff and I do believe I herd some Christian music playing earlier so five star on everything and I definitely recommend coming here if you have never been!

Everything I had was amazing. Best brisket I've had in a very long time. So juicy, flavorful and an amazing bark. The smoked chicken just fell apart and tasted amazing. Mac and cheese was good as well as the potato salad. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner here tonight. The food was all super hot and fresh tasting, I also met with one of the owners and she was super nice. This is a nice local owned business and we will be back again!
