Recent Reviews

We were in town visiting Tweetsie Railroad and decided to give them a try. Entering it looks like a fun little establishment. Our server was very nice but the service seemed a little slow. I understand it was a Friday night but there still tables open. Food was middle of the mall. I had the Baloney sandwich. It was good but got a little soggy after a few minutes. The pub chips were good but they were soft instead of crunchy like they should have been.

We hosted a 60th Birthday party in the upstairs party room. The owner of 1841 Cafe, Vickie, was great to work with and met all our needs. We had 80 people but the event space can fit up to 200 people so there is plenty of room to mingle and tables were not crunched together. Food was superior & waitstaff was friendly and efficient. There is an elevator access making it easy accessible. I highly recommend this event space.

Service the last two times was spot on, even though we were outside, away from most other diners. My husband's order was wrong this one time, but it was immediately fixed, VERY quickly, and we were both extremely pleased. Great local place.
