Stop there for gas a lot coming up & down the mountain. Never eaten there. Food looked good from what I saw on the tables. So, ordered hot dogs all the way for pick up. Very little chili & slaw, but both were on the bottom of the bun & the hot dog was placed on top of the chili & slaw. I’ve never seen that before, seemed a little odd. Makes the bun very soggy. Anyway, probably won’t order hot dogs there again, maybe give them a try for something else sometime.
Kind of a mixed bag here, really. It's clean, my interactions with the staff were very positive. There's a wide variety of snacks and knick knacks that range from interesting to questionable. The grill is the same. The fried pickles are the best I've ever had. They were excellent. However the Mac and cheese I ordered was obviously Kraft. And the onions on the patty melt were raw. Definitely a good place to stop on a road trip. Just expect various results at the grill.
