Even though it was a barbecue place, I was starving for a hamburger. It was fantastic. The fries were good white slaw, and I was full when I left. The waitress was fantastic. Definitely a place to go back to.

I hesitated leaving this review because they are always busy. You can't beat a good thing. Try the Cheeseburger or Beef brisket and you'll be ready to wait in line next time.🖤🔥

Great local barbecue with a good mix of pork elements. Red slaw is top notch and hush puppies are tiny and tender. Beef brisket is good but has heavy BBQ sauce. Great tea and Cheerwine on tap. My biggest criticism is that when there is a crowd the back room is is so loud that you cannot hear the person speaking beside of you because there is no sound dampening whatsoever. I am not hard of hearing but just from simple conversation sounds the acoustics were so bad that no one at any of the tables could speak and be heard. With a room full a families it is like trying to have a conversation while shouting down an alleyway on a busy city street. We won't be sitting in that room again because it is in desperate need of some sound dampening on the concrete wall or ceiling.

Authentic and delicious NC barbecue. Freshly prepared items. Fast service, spotlessly clean and just a few turns off Route 52. Generous servings at reasonable prices. I highly recommend this one lace next time you crave some good barbecue.

My wife and I love the brisket plate. The baked potatoes are perfectly done. The brisket is wonderful with a large portion of meat. The baked beans are delicious. I almost always get takeout but when I do dine-in the wait staff treats all like family. Just wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often.

Great little dinner spot on our road trip. They were pretty busy when we arrived, but we didn't wait long for a table or service. We had the beef plate and meat combo with brisket and pork. The brisket was super tender, hush puppies were great, the potato salad and coleslaw were amazing, and the staff was very friendly.

A quaint, cozy restaurant with staff eager to serve you and the food tastes like homemade. The bacon cheeseburger I had tasted like a family cookout and the hush puppies were nice and crisp.

I've had just about everything on their menu, it's all so good! The brisket, the BBQ, especially the sirloin. Absolutely love it here
