This place is not closed. The bagels are good but the service, price, and air quality are not. When you walk in it's a wall of smoke. How they can even be in business without ventilation is beyond me. It will burn your eyes and make your hair/clothes smell awful. I wait outside for my food but it's still terrible. I feel bad for the workers. If you have some place to be after this place then you will need time to air out. If a place is going to have silly, joke-y country signs around saying they'll add $10 to your order if you aren't nice then maybe they should provide some actual customer service. Try not to pay cash because they rarely have change so you end up paying even more for your food. There's a sign stating they need change which I'm unsure why they can't get from the bank. I don't think there's a shortage any longer. One bagel toasted with plain cream cheese was $4.33. This is Lexington, NC. Get real.

This is a small locally owned place on the corner. I enjoyed the coziness and the variety of plants in the window.You order at the counter. Decent sized breakfast and lunch menu. We ordered breakfast at lunch hour. Simple but delicious items. Hash browns good and not greasy. Avocado toast was simple but good.Husband tried the Taylor Ham pork roll on his breakfast sandwich. Tasty so it's worth a try.If you like sodas they have a nice variety in the cooler. We tried the root beer and it didn't disappoint.The staff was very friendly.

Love the cinnamon crunch bagels but you have to get there early or they are gone. The lunch sandwich are very good to they do not hold back on the meat .
Good bagel sandwich with egg. The coffee is good too but you have to serve it yourself and there is no milk or real cream.

This is a great little bagel shop, if you aren't planning to dine-in. The food is so yummy! I have had a turkey and cheese sandwich (cold), as well as a ham and cheese (hot) and they were both so incredible! My friend had a cinnamon crunch bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese, and said it was delicious! We ate every bite! It was also fast service! Four of us were able to place orders, eat, socialize, and get out in less than an hour. Super speedy! Minus one star because it is so smoky inside. They have a grill area where they cook, which is fine, but there is no hood/ventilation and so when they grill anything, the smoke just goes out into the restaurant. The four of us who ate there smelled like bacon smoke the entire afternoon. Will continue to eat from here, just maybe not inside until the ventilation sees an improvement.

I got a bagel sandwich with a coffee. The bagel was tough and the toppings were not flavorful. Just a blend tough experience.But the coffee seemed to have some flavoring and sweetener I couldn't place and didn't order.The bland tough bagel and sweet flavored coffee made the whole meal an unpleasant experience.Plus, apparently they run out early most days which could easily be avoided with some basic operations planning.Parking: Small shared lot that's usually full.

I love this place! i'm from New York and love the fact that I can get a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel or Taylor ham that you can't find in the south this is just like walking into a bagel shop in New York. The staff is so nice and courteous. It's very cute and quaint, I definitely recommend!
