CELIAC KNOWLEDGEABLE | GLUTEN FREE BREAD | LOTS OF LOVE🌸 **As someone with celiac disease, finding a place to eat out safely is incredibly rare BUT Bridgett’s Kitchen is truly a blessing.** Eating out has always been stressful for me because of the risk of cross-contamination, but from the very first visit, I felt completely at ease. Bridget and her staff are not only kind and welcoming, but they’re also extremely knowledgeable about celiac disease and gluten-free needs. They understand the seriousness of it not just offering gluten-free options, but taking every step to make sure it’s safe. They have gluten-free bread, a surprisingly large variety of GF-friendly menu items, and most importantly, they prepare my food separately and carefully. They even enter my order *first* to make sure it’s made before any of the other food hits the grill. Bridget herself always comes out to say hi and check on my husband and I, it’s just another reminder of how much she cares about her customers. The food? Absolutely delicious. Whether you're gluten-free or not, everything I’ve had has been full of flavor and made with love. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, and the entire staff treats you like family. And while I can’t personally enjoy the peach cobbler, my husband swears it’s the *best* he’s ever had hands down. That’s saying something! As a celiac, I can confidently say I’ve never felt safer or more cared for at a restaurant. Bridgett’s Kitchen has taken the stress out of dining out for me and that’s something I’ll always be grateful for. If you have dietary restrictions or just want amazing BBQ with heart, this place is a must-visit!

Me and my fiancé came to Lexington to try out a couple places and Bridgett’s kitchen was on that list. We were hoping just to try a little sample and go, but we left with a lot more, we left feeling like Family. The owner is the epitome of southern hospitality and the food was to die for. The pulled pork lived up to its name, just melting apart, and the brisket had the best smoke ring I have seen. We also got smoked Mac-n-cheese and green beans. Let me tell you that they don’t hold a flame to any other sides we’ve had.

This is one of the best restaurants I have been to. The food is phenomenal. The staff is simply amazing, so kind, helpful, and friendly. Bridgett and her staff are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not leave hungry and your heart will be full 🥰

Ate here for the first time on a Tuesday evening at 5:30ish. Service was wonderful. The waitress patiently answered all my many questions about the menu, made suggestions and was just so kind and helpful. Food was made right, homemade, tasted delicious with fresh ingredients and fast. Great variety of smoked meat on the menu - chicken, pork, turkey, smoked sausage. All the sides are homemade - just wonderful overall. I was very impressed with
the menu and the staff. I’ll definitely return and recommend Bridgette’s to people.

Absolutely incredible experience! 9 of us walked in and with in minutes, we were all seated with drinks. About 8-10 minutes later, we had our food. I've never experienced a restaurant where the waiter/waitress asked if our drinks and food was good so many times. The food??? Holy WOW! I'll swear by this, Best smoked chicken I've ever had. The entire staff was incredibly polite! Thank you so much for an unforgettable meal!

My first, but hopefully not last visit here. Absolutely delicious, with a great and friendly staff running like an extremely well oiled precision machine. You owe it to yourself to run into downtown Lexington at 206 Center St. and check this place out. Extremely well prepared and flavor rich foods. The collards are not cooked to mush and have good amounts of smoked pulled pork in them for extra seasoning. The sweet potato casserole is outstanding! You really do come Asa stranger but leave as family. Such a good engaging bunch of folk here.

I have to say, the food was absolutely delishious. The pulled pork, awesome...the potato salad...awesome...even the collards were to die for.

However, it would have been much easier to enjoy my food if the place weren't SO LOUD!!! At points is was so loud I couldn't hear the people sitting at my table. Some dividers or high backed booths would help tremendously.

Bridgette's Kitchen is the quintessential small town barbecue shop. They really do mean it, You walk in as a stranger and you leave as a family. Bridgette and her staff are so nice and their service is out of this world. This is our second time eating here and it was still just as good. We come to the area twice a year for the Highpoint Furniture Market and Bridgette's is quickly becoming a tradition. The most important thing about this place is that hushpuppies are considered a bread. This is maybe the single greatest idea in human history since the wheel. The burnt ends and ribs are so good you don't even need extra sauce. I'm no barbeque expert but this is a MUST try for anyone passing thru the area for the atmosphere alone. You can tell everything is cooked with love.
