Curran Alexander Vineyards

Curran Alexander Vineyards was THE perfect venue for our rehearsal dinner. Comfortably seated our group of 50 for a sit-down dinner and buffet. And the vineyards were the perfect backdrop for our family photos. Rita and Holly were very hospitable and helped to make it such a memorable event. The wine is excellent. We will be back!

We stopped into Curran Alexander Vineyards last week on our way home. We've been there before. I remember liking their wines but not being blown away. Well, hold the presses!!

Rita gave us spectacular service and we were indeed BLOWN AWAY! We were planning on bringing home 2 bottles but ended up getting 7!!! The value is excellent! Our most expensive bottle was $26.

2 bottles of the 2024 Yadkin Valley Viognier which was delicious, 2 bottles of the Rose (made from 100% Cab Sauv) which shocked me with the flavors & depth (I drink 90% reds usually), 1 bottle of the 2022 Yadkin Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (which we will hold for 4-5 years), 1 bottle of the 2021 Yadkin Valley Cabernet Franc and 1 bottle of the 2022 Yadkin Valley Meritage. I liked the Southern Tour blend and the Smokey Pearl blend, both were similar to the Meritage) but a little sweeter than I usually drink.

I highly recommend a visit to Curran Alexander Vineyards for a delicious tasting and if you can get Rita, who is VERY knowledgeable about the wines, the better but I'm sure all the staff is great.

My wife and I had a relaxing Sunday afternoon over a lovely bottle of wine. It wasn't our first trip, nor will it be our last.

The setting is breathtaking-rolling vines, open skies, and that peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel like time slows down just for you. It’s rare to find a venue that is equally stunning and run by people who genuinely care about your day as much as you do. Curran Alexander Vineyards, with Allston’s personal touch, is exactly that. We will treasure the memories made here for a lifetime.

Very beautiful winery! Loved the atmosphere, and staff is friendly. Very good wines, they also have slushies.

Great family run winery in a beautiful setting. I highly recommend the tasting which gets you taste most of their wines. The host thee really knew the wines too.

The whites and red were excellent and the red fully developed. I highly recommend checking this one out when in the area and it’s worth a detour as well.

I'm not much of a wine drinker but a friend and I visited Curran Alexander Winery, Lexington, N.C. I did a wine tasting and found something I really like. Rita Carr was very helpful, detailing each wine. We were given a tour of the fully restored family home and it is lovely. (It can be rented). We also met the owners who were very gracious.

Nothing short of perfect for our afternoon of wine tasting. One of, if not the best, dry red wine I’ve had in North Carolina! Don’t skip this place, make it your first stop. It’s now one of my favorites.

Very lovely vineyard, the was live music and an outdoor fire going that made for a great evening.

Very nice boutique winery. New tasting room is very spacious and lovely. Cab Franc and Fizzie Lizzie (Rosé) are very good. Beautiful way to spend an afternoon!

We loved our visit here. Wonderful staff, beautiful vineyard, and excellent wine. Welcoming to children as well.
