They allowed a grown man to scream at my 1 year old when we had a group with 6 children who were all well behaved. He screamed so loud the whole restaurant could hear and they didn’t say a word to him. I will never eat there again and I suggest no one else does either. They should have escorted that man out.
The prices have gotten outrageous. The cheese dip went up again and it's in an even smaller dish now. For mediocre Mexican it's not worth the price.

The past 4 times I have ordered, my food has been horrible. The large California Burrito barely has any cheese or pico on it. The nachos looked like they were thrown against a wall. I spend over $40 dollars every time I eat at Don Juan's and it's usually pretty good. After the past 4 experiences, I might not go back. Very disappointing for the money I paid.

I used to love this place it’s falling down a bit. I ordered a a burrito and they didn’t wrap it, (good fIavor thought) order a frozen margarita the texture was off. Maybe it was an off day but I wrote this so hopefully they will do better. I may come back If a group wanted to go but they are no longer my first choice. Waiter was cool

Never in my life had issues here. Ordered $40 worth of food tonight. Picked it up, no queso for the ACP or nachos. Called, she told me she would happily refund the two out of three meals as a credit.
They CALLED back- 2 hours later and said the REVIEWED camera footage and the guy put queso on ONE of the meals. The meals were DRY. I went out and bought cheese dip from the store that was a mile up the road. Calling people liars and going back on cameras over cheese is insane!! I love this place and I really hate business had to end this way.

My husband and I have been loyal customers to Don Juan's in Lexington since the 1st day they opened until about a month ago. We would go there at least once a week. Ever since Covid, things have changed drastically. When you were seated, you would get chips and salsa and your drink order would be taken. My husband and I were seated ( this was the last time we were there) and they were not busy and bot owners from the lexington restaurant and the one in Kernersville were both there the night we walked out. The server's were standing around in the corner talking and laughing and neve acknowledge me and my husband! We sat there for 15 minutes watching ALL of them including the owners just casually talking, so after we waited another 5 minutes we got up and left and we have not been back. Now if we want Don Juan's, we go to Kernersville.

Hands down some of the WORSE Mexican I've ever had. I was visiting Lexington and, after a Google search, decided to go with this place due to the number of reviews and all the rave. Big mistake... I guess if you've never had GOOD Mexican food, then this will wow you. If I had to pick one word to describe the food, it would have to be "bland." I had the Enchiladas Suisas and was surprised to see it didn't come with a side of rice and refried beans. I had to order some as a side. My mom and son were craving ribs, and not only was the portion small, but both complained on how "bland" it was. They were super disappointed. Forgot what my niece ordered, but she got what looked to be like some shredded beef over some soupy rice. She stated the cheese sauce was too much and overpowered the rest of the plate. My other niece got a 2 or 3 item plate, and she complained that the pork tamale was hard and didn't finish it. The waitress spilled her tray of drinks and soaked 2 of my kids, but hey, mistakes happen. They could have at least taken off a couple of bucks from the check for that, but it is what it is. All and all with tip included, I was out about 160 bucks. I had a large beer, and that, along with the complimentary chips and salsa, may have been the best part of the whole meal. In retrospect, Taco Bell might have been a better option.

This place was great. We have never been to Don Juan's. We found it by chance and tried it.
The food was full of flavor, fresh and hot. Great variety of choices.
The service was fantastic, the staff was friendly and energetic.
We will definitely be returning.
