The food is always so good! The waitresses are super nice! We love it!!
The food is always very good! The service is wonderful! They are always very friendly and we normally do a call in order and it doesn’t take long at all for them to get our order prepared. I mainly enjoy the chicken hibachi, but my son loves their sushi and says it’s always fresh and taste great!

Kabuki is not the place to dine. The service was extremely lacking. The teriyaki chicken was dry and tasteless as well as the fried rice. The tuna roll was just ok. There were no condiments on the table. If you're looking for this type of food, GO ELSEWHERE.
I will not be returning.

Gave me the wrong takeout, went back for the correct order. Still got it wrong. Since he gave me the wrong, he still charged me the difference. And still the order was wrong. When I called back, they were closed. I pay for my food, it should be prepared the way I ask for it to be.

I was raised in Lexington so I knew what to expect in terms of restaurants. Seeing this place really stood out because it was different. Because I'm from Lexington, I know the food quality is high. This place was not and it didn't come close to the elevated experience one would expect for a Japanese steakhouse. I was served a poorly doctored, well done filet mignon cut up over a bed of rice with a sauce that did not pare well at all with the steak bites. No horseradish available. What I thought I was to be receiving from my order was a medium filet with rice. I have never experienced filet mignon in such a way. It was inedible. I was told that all of their steaks except the ribeye is served precut. I switched to the ribeye expecting a 10 oz medium rare cut. I received an inedible ribeye. It looked like it was going to be great but it was a curious brown color throughout and cold although it was seared nicely giving it a great appearance. My hometown deserves better and I trust my hometown will expect better from a restaurant promoting international cuisine. Horrible food and the manager(s)/owner(s), if notified, didn't make themselves available. Horrible experience that appears to make assumptions about folks not really knowing what to expect... Therefore give them anything.
The service was not on par with similar places I've experienced around the country. The ambiance and service in Honeymonks is waaaay superior to this place. Go eat barbecue instead of this. Horrible!

I thought it was an Japanese steak restaurant. It had Chinese sauce no spicy mustard. they only got what comes with Chinese carry mustard the package from the Chinese restaurant . Need to get Japanese mustard if that’s what they are
I’ve been coming for a while and decided I need to finally give this place a review it deserves. I have dined in and ordered take out. The quality of the food for both is amazing. I am an admittedly picky eater and they get my order right every time. Wait staff are always pleasant to deal with and the owner is very kind. I highly recommend Kabuki for anyone who hasn’t been.

Food never served hot. Don’t know issue. Maybe Shushi specialist? But hot combinations are a problem

Excellent sushi served with a quiet atmosphere in a clean and well decorated dining room. This outfit is small, offering just over a dozen tables.
The restaurant does not present itself well from the street, being part of a strip mall, but if you are close enough to see through the windows it has a warm and well lit interior that does a great job setting expectations.
It's a great place for quiet dates, small family outings, and business lunches where the discussion will be important.

If you don't mind not having wine with your dinner or a nice beer this is a fantastic place to go. Cuz the food is awesome and is a great amount of selections to choose from. On my yum scale it's a double yum
