The service was amazing. The food was delicious. We ordered crab legs, jumbo shrimp with a salad. Whatever you do not use the butter sauce (the butter that you dip the crab legs into) tasted like motor oil. I’ve never had any like it. And it smelled like old used lard. Everything else was perfect!
Scallops were NOT scallops! Premium prices require authenticity in food offerings. I’m disappointed. Cocktail sauce seemed to lack horseradish for a hint of spice but was marginally acceptable. Great service and friendly staff!!
This place always looks palatable. Love the Light House and atmosphere. Gotta be honest though. Been here 4 or 5 times since the late eighties and it has always been pretty Mediocre. The tartar sauce wasn't good enough to cover up the blah tasting flounder. It has been around along time though so I guess the folks in Lexington like it
