My GF and I decided to make Christos our dinner choice for this evening. Per usual, the wait staff were sufficiently knowledgeable with their menu as well as the ingredients in the food. The restrooms were clean and stocked but parking was a bit crazy but overall manageableParking: Christos on #8 Lexington. Parking was in three different sections if I'm correct and not many available spaces due to the small size of them however the restaurant was busy.

I've been eating at this restaurant for years, but for some reason have never reviewed it until now. And here's the thing about Christo's: some of the criticisms in other reviews are valid, and there are definitely things the restaurant could and should aspire to do better with. The service here, and the atmosphere it sometimes creates, is something I've never really seen in a restaurant before: some of the staff here can be downright rude. Sometimes, you'll find a group of servers/employees standing at the front near the buffet waiting on orders loudly discussing work drama and speaking negatively about the place and/or other employees. Sometimes it's other customers who lack manners. And yes, if you go at certain times (the end of lunch, for example) you're going to get pizza from the buffet that's last its prime. But even with all of that in mind, we love eating here because the food is just really good when it's done right. They serve my husband's favorite Philly cheese steak. Their pastas and subs are fantastic, and though inconsistent, their wings are awesome. The pizza buffet has an excellent variety of pizzas, and the corresponding salad bar has a ton of different toppings and my favorite restaurant ranch dressing. The supreme pizza, as well as the Philly cheese steak bread stuff, are among the best options, and their dessert pizzas are a really yummy change of pace as well. Even though this place does have its flaws and its bad days, we keep coming back because we just love the food that much at the end of the day.

We order from there about weekly, and have for years. Never had any trouble before but the forgot a jar of ranch in my order last week. No big deal we are all busy and mistakes happen. I called and they said I could stop by the next day and pick it up no problem. Problem arises when I call and place another order and tell them I’ll pick up the ranch jar owed at that time. They essentially treated me like a thief and doubled down that the ranch was in the bag. They relented and said I could pick it up. When I got there they got my ranch along with a couple of sneers of “it was in the bag, I know it was” worst customer service ever. I have a doctorate I don’t need to steal ranch.

Picked up some wings for Super Bowl Sunday... Undercooked. Been eating Christos wings for 30 plus years. These were not their regular... Last time I had them, wings were great, service to be desired... Not sure I am going to take a chance on strike three!

Been to the buffet multiple times. Its from 11-2pm. Price is decent ($10.99 incl drink) but last visit Cooks and staff did not put food out until 11:24. Then we wished we could've changed out the odd pizza flav

The waitress got loud coming outside regarding not being left a tip. Tips are not promised and Noone is obligated to leave one. We have always left and leave tips wherever we have dined at. If she had not been in such a hurry and tried rush people and her attitude was better in hospitality and courteousthen we would left one. Very unprofessional handled on their side. This was all done in front of other customers. Never had a problem here before but this ruined it for my whole family. So will not be returning.
