So good I might move to Lexington! Or at the very least, drive from Winston. The teriyaki bowl is so good!! And the pizza is a winner too. Go get some good food and a beverage and enjoy everything about it.
The staff is super friendly and chill.... The pizza is very good along with wings on thursday and friday that are top notch! Go have you a beer from the bar at goose and the monkey and step in to order something tasty to enjoy with that drank!

The staff were very helpful and friendly when I walked in. There were also wonderful pizza options to choose from, however the selection we ordered came out very salty. The table next to us also order a pizza and said that there pizza was way to salty to finish as well. They both smelled wonderful just inedible.

I was disappointed with the food overall. I ordered the meat pizza. It was floppy and soggy. I also ordered the pretzel, which was okay but nothing special. The prices were too high for the quality of food or lack thereof. As fat as the atmosphere, you have to walk through a bar to get to the restaurant. It depends on preference, I suppose, but I wasn't very happy to have my kids eating at a bar. It's just not the atmosphere I want my children at.

Now that I have a seat and a beer, it's time for a pizza. Pour Folk is the place inside Goose and Monkey that has a completely enclosed lobby which makes them separate. Very very clever.
A look at the menu and I landed on the "Kicken Chicken" which has ranch, mozzarella, buffalo grilled chicken, pickles, red onion and hot honey. Since it's just me and pizza, I got the small.
Fourteen minutes later (and most of my first beer), the buzzer beeped and I picked it up. Oh, my. This is a whole lot of flavor. spicy chicken and honey, sour pickle, creamy dill. It's all the things.
Vegetarian options: I think you'll need to ask.
Dietary restrictions: Ask about allergens.
Parking: They share the lot with Goose and The Monkey Brew House
Kid-friendliness: Kids love pizza, right?
Wheelchair accessibility: Step free access but no powered doors.

We've eaten here 2 or 3 times before, and it's always been great. But something has changed, as last Saturday was a disappointment.
We ordered the Bibimbap and Jamaican jerk bowls, the Bibimbap we've ordered in the past. Both bowls barely had any chicken (not even a 1/4 cup), and the sauce on both was so overpowering and the spice unbearable, I couldn't even finish the Jamaican jerk bowl and I can handle extremely spicy. The rice made up the majority of the bowls. While there was a nice portion of mango in the Jamaican jerk bowl, it just lacked substance. High high starchy carbohydrates and high sugar from too much sauce. I understand costs are higher in these days of inflation, but for $13, I expect to get more than a 1/4 of chicken or equal amounts of rice to vegetable to protein. It was so unsatisfying that we stopped on the way home to pick up more food.

My jerk bowl was a huge disappointment. Only warm ingredient was the rice. If this is the way its served, you should mention that on the menu. Their idea of jerk chicken is 2 oz of cold chunks of chicken drowned in 6 oz of cheap grocery store jerk flavored sauce. The mango was served still frozen. The pretzel we got was actually good and my wife did enjoy her simple salad, but had very little chicken on it for the $2 surcharge. Based on other comments in the reviews, it seems this is the norm here. It's too bad the food doesn't match the atmosphere.

The food was great. It was really loud, sound bouncing off the hard walls. Friendly and helpful staff. Drinks are sold separately from the food. Two lines to wait in. Tea and lemonade are free refills. Soda sold by the bottle.
Parking: Dirt and gravel parking beside and in front of the business.

1st time here, definitely will come back. Great food and service! The fact that it is inside The Goose and the Monkey is an added feature that you must experience both!
