The food here NEVER disappoints. We love the atmosphere and A.J. is the bomb! He always makes us feel like family. Whether you just want a beer, wine, a snack, lunch, or a full dinner, this is an excellent choice! We have tried most everything they serve and you can't go wrong. They also have awesome soups. So, go...check them out! You'll thank me later.

Sashimi Yellowfin Tartlets - Very Good Winter Salad - Very Good Pork Belly Banh Mi - Good Salmon Tacos - Rancid and Dry The service was terrible. The staff mainly stood behind the bar the whole time. The restaurant was busy but we were basically brought our food and that was it. I ordered the salmon tacos and as soon as the plate was set in front of me, it had a rancid smell but I thought maybe it’s the feta cheese, so I took a bite and the taste was off, so I took another bite and it it had a rancid taste. I asked my son to smell it and he was like yeah it’s not good. I went to the restroom and he told the server and they said, well it is fish, ummm no, it wasn’t a fishy smell it was a rancid smell and the salmon actually looked like it had been put through a dehydrator it was so dry and old looking. For such a cool place and atmosphere they have a serious problem with their service level unless you are sitting at the bar where all the servers hang out, then you will get great service but anywhere else, forget about it.

5 stars all the way around for Sophie’s Cork & Ale in uptown Lexington, NC. Atmosphere was warm and rustic, service was on point and the food was excellent. Jennifer had the Crab Cake sandwich and I had the Shrimp Ramen bowl which was delicious. We will definitely be back to try their other menu creations.

Sister's day out turned into a disaster when we got our food (ribs) my Sister's had a long piece of hair and the server and the owner/manager were not apologetic at all then wouldn't give anything off the bill no remorse then owner said this happened to him at waffle house smart mouth will never eat here again. Then the server proceeds to give my sister a ticket for her drink what sir are you crazy she just had a long piece of hair in her mouth from the ribs have some compassion!!!!

Ashley was an Amazing server! She was very attentive, patient, and answered every question, respectfully and professionally. The atmosphere is lovely. There are open windows, showing natural light, with additional fairy lights, surrounding decoration inside. The music playlist selection is warm and diverse. The location is clean from an environmental and foods standpoint. The food selection is fresh, homemade, and satisfies all taste buds. What a wondering Dining Experience!

This second visit 😍 had me so comfortable and the way the food and the environment went so well, Ashley attended us so well, my gf and I felt welcomed 💗 she had the scrambled eggs and I had the Texas toast beef sandwich 🥪 ❤️

Great little Lexington gem. The menu had the basics and some bougie items too (think duck two ways). Draft list was decent and had a super unique 14% sake margarita. Say what?! Staff was all mega friendly. Worth a visit for sure.

I haven’t even finished my food but have to go ahead and leave a review- this place is delicious! Atmosphere is fantastic. One bite of my husbands food and he declared it to be one of the best meals he’s had in a while. Shrimp and grits burger- just do it. We will definitely be back. And I’m already excited about it!

In town visiting for a wedding and my wife and I came here for dinner and then lunch the following day. Everything we ordered was so delicious. The staff was very friendly, too. If you're in the Lexington area, you should definitely give this place a try.
