I love coming here for lunch to go for my 97 year old grandma every Friday! The ladies all know me, my order and are so kind and prompt. Food is always good!

Oh my goodness this was not good at all. 2 bbq plates almost $30 the BBQ was hard tough not much flavor slaw looked as if it was thrown on the plates crossing sections onto my fries that of course got soggy. Hushpuppies was just 3 big balls of cornmeal that was attached to each other and not cooked on the inside. I really don't think it was pork shoulder either I think it was burnt boston butt. I know bbq I lived in Lexington 33 years and worked in a bbq restaurant for at least 17 years. This was not good at all. If they would have brought this to my table I would have got up and left. But I got it to go. I'm so glad I didn't order extra to eat later as I had initially planned. My husband went to bed when we got home saying he was sick from the bbq. IDK if that's what made him sick but he was. I just felt a little bit of a stomach ache. Oh well I learned a lesson today. Not to go back.

Wonderful experience, food and staff alike. Was greeted and the staff was so lovely. Real southern experience, my girlfriend and myself visited and enjoyed every moment of it.
This was our first time eating at the restaurant but we've taken out many times prior. It was a great dinner all around , people were awesome,food was awesome ,great prices , Slices BBQ was great and I had the Ribeye Steak Sandwich all was very very delicious.
