This place was pretentiousand over priced. Don't mind paying high prices. But the food was not very good.

My wife and I made a reservation for Friday night and couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised at the food, the service, and the ambience. For a small, cozy and quaint place the chef is absolutely outstanding. The meals were tasty, with fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented. My wife asked if he would make her a vegetarian dish, and she said it was literally the best vegetarian meal she’s ever had. Everything was outstanding, and we were blown away to find such a wonderful dinner in a relatively small town. The service was also very polite, friendly and professional. If you’re in the Lexington area, you always yourself to make a reservation!

Simply AMAZING!!! The wine selection, the music, the Mahi, the dessert of the day “Lemon Pound Cake,” the staff…. All Amazing!!! This was our favorite part of our 2 week visit to Lexington!!! Can’t wait to come back!
Wow! What a gem we found in Wine Sellars. The food was amazing and so was the service! Great atmosphere, too! Highly recommend!
My now husband and I had dined at this restaurant prior to our marriage. He being originally from Lexington, decided to get married and have a farm here, though we maintain properties in South Florida, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Our own experience, as a table for two, was just fine, but nothing to write home about. Clearly, this little house in front of a Food Lion Shopping Center may boast charm as a hidden gem, but it is not. Vagrants tried to enter the front door to buy "wine" while we were dining as if it were a liquor store. Since then, we notice they have placed boards on their front door and guests can only enter by the side. The owners are a lovely couple, suitable for the local environment, but wine selection and dinner pairings / preparation, are clearly geared toward what they think "exceptional" for the local crowd. It is not, and we are not the only ones to think this. We even gave them the best opportunity to host our rehearsal dinner for 10 at what they quoted our wedding planners as $150 a head, sans beverages, when our wedding venue (Board and Batten) accommodated over 85 for $150 including bar, full buffet, and seven entre items. We had the local Mayor at both events as he is a friend of my husband, and he even gave the place a bad recommendation. He said you were better off at the local Tap Room steak house or to go an exit up where there was an Outback or other chains. Lou Lou's Seafood catered our rehearsal dinner and they were amazing, kind, and not pretentious. I am all about supporting local businesses, but this is one I just cannot recommend.
