We came in on a week day; so not very busy. However, they could've at least kept the bar stocked with pizza for the people who were here. The pizza we had tasted like it had been sitting there for a good minute and there was few slices to begin with. Very dry. There was maybe a half a pizza left altogether on the bar when four more people came in. They just sent to the salad bar because there was nothing worth grabbing. Salad bar was good. Excellent lunch stop. Hawaiian pizza, meat lovers, cheese, cinnamon, strawberry, chocolate chip and more as choices for pizza. Salad bar with healthy choices and an array of dressings with soup and pasta available for a reasonable prices. Ice cream is also available as well as a cold beer if you like. We will certainly stop again.
Not the best experience. Thus is my second Village Inn I've visited. The first one was the one in Morganton and that one was a bit better. Not good to visit between lunch and dinner. Since there's not a good amount of people they don't put out fresh pizzas unless you ask for a specific one. Once the dinner time approaches and more people come in, then the pizzas start rolling out. The same is for the salad bar.
