It was absolutely amazing and peaceful. Best message I have ever had at the Spa.
Rooms: Clean and accommodating. Colonial charm.
Walkability: Everything was within walking distance of 5 to 7 minutes.
Food & drinks: The food was amazing. We tried several items and enjoyed everything. I do not typically order steak as I always seemed to get disappointed. I had the Prime NY Strip, and it was perfectly cooked and as tender and juicy as it should be. Absolutely fantastic!

Any photographer would be happy to shoot at this classy and rustic venue, it is simply gorgeous!!If you're a bride or couple looking for a venue with a romantic lodge, it would be a great fit! There are plenty of areas on the grounds for beautiful portraits and great first-look options as well.As a wedding photography vendor that has experienced a variety of venues and what they have to offer - The Eseeloa Lodge was full of charm and character. The grounds or the Pavilion are great locations for an elegant ceremony and reception. It's a beautiful backdrop for any couple’s special day! Can't go wrong choosing this venue, it is always a delight to shoot our amazing couples at this location! IG @paperboysweddings

AMAZING!!! My sweet & amazing bridal girls surprised me with a full hour at the spa & we all got pampered! I believe I had Barbara & OH MY GOSH… totally in love!!! My first time ever & I am honestly already planning for my next trip next year with my soon to be husband (or mom/family)
Absolutely a beautiful place. We came here for a wedding. Fabulous place for a wedding. 5 stars
A beautiful setting! Many sitting areas so you can gather with friends and family and play chess, checkers, scrabble in front of a fire. It is so warm and welcoming you will not want to leave! Beds are very comfy and our room has a wonderful private patio. I highly recommend!
Absolutely unmatched in the refinement to the landscaping and architecture. However, the food and rooms aren't worth the $400+ a night. The food (dinner) is average and the rooms are dated and ordinary. The golf course was immaculate but I didn't play. The location is amazing and I would definitely visit in the late spring or late summer.
Was not quite the spa services I envisioned. You wait in a common area with other patrons. You are ushered to your service and upon completion, sent back to the common area. There was no meditation area, nor were patrons allowed to sit out by the pool. No food or beverage service. I did not like the loofah scrub my massage therapist used on my back during my massage. Left my back raw in certain areas.

First off, I will say I did like the ambience of the spa a lot. I chose this spa because of it's location and because they use Aveda products. HAIR: Amber did my hair and she did a great job. She was very friendly. It was my first visit and she took her time with me, I never felt rushed. I felt she listened to me and did exactly what I asked, a hair cut, no other hair service. The blow out was great. However, I booked and paid for "Diamond Hair Services includes a luxurious scalp and neck massage with steam towels and your choice of soothing or invigorating essential oils." Well, I did feel the steam towels for a few seconds (less than a minute) but there was no luxurious scalp and neck massage and certainly no soothing or invigorating essential oils. Haircut was good even without the massage. Though my Aveda salon does the neck massage and charges less than what I paid here. I'd give her 3 stars. PEDICURE: I booked a Signature Pedicure at $57 which was just mediocre at best. There was a slight sugar rub but there certainly wasn't any massage with the pedicure. What I got was a very basic pedicure. The salon that generally does my pedicures for $35 does a far superior job, with a lengthy leg massage, for a lot less than what I paid here. Disappointed in the pedicure. The gal that did the pedicure was not friendly at all. I'd give her 2 stars. FACIAL: Brandi did my facial. I've had facials in the past that were relaxing and gentle and just flowed. Brandi's technique was a bit rough, abrupt, matter-of-fact, and the transition from one aspect of the facial to the next wasn't smooth or gentle. I don't know, maybe she is new at this. She seemed to know what she was talking about and we had good conversation but the facial didn't flow. In the end my skin felt good, likely due to the products, but I felt like I received far better experience with facials elsewhere. I'd give her 2 stars. MASSAGE: Now this was great! Lauren did my 90 minute massage and I can do nothing but rave about her and her technique. She hit every single trigger point exactly as needed; she was smooth, the massage flowed, and I wished I could have stayed another 90 minutes. Definitely amazing!! Lauren was super nice and her massage was amazing! I'd give Lauren 5 stars!!! In the end, let me tell you that I booked several spa services as you can see, but "due to Covid" they could not schedule me on the same day, which also means they penalized me and could not give me any kind of spa package for booking several services because THEY could not accommodate my selection of services. Not too happy about that. Massage, pedicure, facial, and haircut, and at best I got 10% off 2 services because I was persistent in asking when I checked out. They told me it was due to Covid. Well, I get that, but I booked and paid for 4 services and bought product, and it took the receptionist at least 15 minutes to figure out how she could give me a minimum 10% discount, rather than a spa package deal. Hmmm. I would definitely go back for the massage and haircut, but I can get better facials and pedicures elsewhere. The receptionist should have suggested a spa package and it could have saved me over $100, especially since she handed me a brochure at the end and said "here's our packages, check these out next time" When I scheduled, I requested all the services and inquired about any packages, but because she just booked the services as individual services, I paid more and the spa made out.... that's not so nice. Perhaps I'll reconsider returning.
Love it
The Eseeola Lodge is all about stately elegance. Although there are only a total of 24 rooms and suites, their level of service is impeccable. The rooms may not be as large as some of the national chains however they are very warm and inviting, and very well appointed. Resort guests can also enjoy other features of The Eseeola Lodge including the library, lounge, and bar, or wander around the numerous buildings that make up the property and take in the surrounding beauty of the grounds. On property, you’ll find a day camp for kids, which provides adults just enough time to indulge in a luxurious spa treatment. If you’re so inclined, head over to the pool and swim a few laps. You can also take advantage of the tennis courts and exercise and fitness room. If you’re an outdoor adventurer, you can play a round of croquet or go canoeing and fishing. There’s still plenty to do.
