The line was huge… we ordered buffalo chicken sandwich combo… we got food in under 5 minutes… there is a outdoor seating and it was nice wit bird feeders around so we can eat with sound of birds… the food was decent, the fries were AMAZING!!! it was crispy tasted very fresh and delicious!!

Nice place to have lunch within granfather mountain park.
You can also sit outside and watch the squirrels in the trees.

Ordered a $15 “Philly Cheesesteak”, expecting something decent. But when it came out it was practically cold and crusty roast beef with 2 slices of unmelted cheese and chewy mushrooms. Would’ve rather eaten a school cafeteria lunch.
The food was just plain cafeteria like food...the burger patty was not good. They also gave us our food and forgot the 2 patties on one of our burgers. Not sure how that happens. The amount of chili they put on the burger was silly. I'm not sure how they can charge 15 dollars for a burger and not make it look appealing. Would not recommend eating there. The ambiance is nice. The kids working were nice, but clearly need some more training.

Total disappointment. I ordered a philly combo which said it had onion, pepper and mushrooms and to my surprise when I sat down to eat I saw that it was just bread with meat without flavor, it did not bring any of the aforementioned, when I realized I proceeded again to ask him to They will change my food for another explaining what happened and the response I received from the staff was that I had already bitten it and they could not change my plate and obviously I had to bite the bread to know what it had... for my part I will not buy again in that store... they should also lower the prices since the entrance to the park seems high to me
PS: hamburgers have no flavor at all

Yesterday, I got the Cheeseburger at Mildred's Grill at Grandfather Mountain. The meal came with a drink, fries, and a pickle.
The food itself got cold rather quickly, which was a disappointment. Taste-wise, it was standard. Nothing special, but not bad. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it for the price. If it was closer to $8/$9, I would recommend it. I just don't find it worth the value of the money.
The restaurant itself had a friendly stuffed bear, Mildred with a chef hat, which was cute and good for photos. The lighting was decent. They're was seating both inside and outside. Outside, picnic tables. Indoors, tables with chairs. Not a lot of space to get through though. I had to maneuver around quite a bit with our stroller. High chairs and booster seats available. Wish that they didn't group so many tables together indoors.
Parking: It honestly depends on the day and time you come. Earlier in the day, it's easier to get parking.
Kid-friendliness: Kids meal available. Booster seats and high chairs available.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not very accessible, as you need to go up small stairs just to get inside the building. The way that the tables are arranged could make it difficult for wheelchairs to get through without issues.

Forget that you probably paid $25 per person to be able to get thru the Grandfather Mountain entrance just to visit Mildred's Grill.They have many choices and decent prices.Did I mention ice cream?I'm a sucker for the hot dog all the way!Don't miss it!

Much better food than I was expecting. It was nice to get out of the cold and have a warm lunch while we explored the beautiful sights. The prices were Fair considering this is heavy tourist traffic.
