Food was good, kids (employees) working hard, BUT...it is the most dirty greasy place I've ever been in. Tables are coated... everything is coated with grease. Broke down equipment..nasty bananas laying out in the open covered in flys!!! Needs a professional cleaning and then I will be back... ?
We stopped in to Hwy 55 for a late lunch after spending the day out with the family. This was our first time here. The burgers were amazing and our shakes were delicious. My wife LOVED the bacon & peanut butter shake! I thoroughly loved the fried pickles. We were so full when we left that we skipped dinner.
I had a Chicken Cheesesteak & tots and it was pretty good, hubs had the John Boy & Billy BBQ Bacon Burger & tots. He said that the chili & the grillin' sauce competed too much. Service was slow. Unfortunately, the place was dirty. With half capacity, it should be easier to keep up with cleaning tables. Also, looking up is a bad idea. All the air vents are filthy, greasy, dust magnets!
