Had a great early dinner there! Food AND service were excellent. Will return next time we visit the nearby lake house.
Had to request napkins. No silverware specifically requested none given. We were expected to eat with our fingers.
No excuse for this pitiful service.
Been to Gusses 6 times and this experience was pitiful.
Top of the line food and service. We dine there often! By far the best on Lake Gaston.

Gus's Grill & Bar is a hidden diamond. The food is delicious and portions are diner size. The wait staff is very attentive and provides great customer service. Meals like Meatloaf and mash potatoes with gravy, greek salad with grilled chicken, pork souvlaki sandwich, bang bang shrimp appetizer, hot open faced turkey sandwich, Beef on Weck, and Hangover Burger are delicious. The staff is friendly and service is prompt. Prices are good and portions are generous. The restaurant is a great addition to the community, with super friendly and attentive service, even on busy nights like Friday.
