Had drinks and appetizers at the gazebo today and Amanda was amazing, very warm and welcoming, made us feel at home even though it was our first time visiting The Pointe. She is truly a people person. Food was great and we enjoyed the view of the lake and all the wildlife that were present. Hate to hear this is the last year of operation.
Great food as always but the service wasn't as good as it has been in the past. Anytime a server takes your order without writing it down, it's probably going to be wrong. Please, use a pen and paper and get it right. Anyways, we got our appetizer after we were almost done with our meal because she forgot to put the order in.
We are definitely looking forward to going back soon. This was a Mother's Day outing and I was speechless. I will be bringing the whole family next time. The lake front restaurant has beautiful scenery and the variety of food items that are delicious. It has a boat rental next door with an adjacent pier. A lifetime memory you must experience!..
