The Captains Seafood Platter with the fried shrimp and rockfish for $22 is awesome!!! Chef Ryan does an awesome job with the fried shrimp. Cooked perfectly with just the right amount of breading. Eating outdoors is a treat with a beautiful view. Friendly wait staff. We love this meal. We were excited the menu had not changed over the winter.

WatersView is one of the premiere dining spots in the area with scenic views of the lake from almost everywhere in the restaurant! Located on main lake right before Eaton Ferry bridge on River Road, WatersView is perfectly positioned to take in Lake Gaston’s beautiful waters and, in the evenings, it’s AMAZING sunsets. They have several boat slips available for guests who would like to boat up to the restaurant and they offer a variety of lunch and dinner menu options. I feel that deep in my heart that every small business is very important ; and necessary for local government and growth in town or district ECT,ECT, ECT. It also encourages the community, and also allows families, friends and visitors to come together to sit and spend time with each other and have a good time (which is always a plus 👍.)

The hostess wasn't friendly or welcoming when we walked in. She was completely clueless and had no idea if the patio was heated or not. We waited 30 minutes for an indoor table, just to be sat in a weird room next to the main dining area. The chairs and table weren't like the rest of the furniture in the restaurant. It seemed like patio furniture that was moved inside. It was very uncomfortable. Literally nothing we ordered was good, at all. Especially for the prices. The salmon was terrible and the sides that came with it looked and tasted like it came out of baby food jars. I couldn't eat it. The waitress couldn't have cared less about us and was impossible to find. We would never come back or recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Beautiful location good for intimate meal or family get- together. Staff is attentive and friendly and the food is amazing, I haven't had anything i didn't like. Definitely recommend the sweet potato cornbread!

This is a great place to come and eat and unwind by the lake. Parking is easy, a large car park and easy access. If you can and weather permitting sit outside, you get a great view of Lake Gaston. Service was good and the food was great.
