This is the only coffee shop in Locust. That being said, it's a great coffee shop. Atmosphere is great and plenty of seating. Staff are friendly too.

This place was busy on the first morning I went. It is connected to a church and several bible studies were ongoing when I arrived mid-morning. (I was told on my 2nd trip that a men's group meets there occasionally, and I spoke to a young lady who was a student, completing school work). Still, I was unbothered by anyone. I only ordered tea(then delicious coffee and then a pumpkin chai latte), but there were loads of coffee and tea choices and fresh baked goods.
I went back and had a delicious dark chocolate coconut scone (and I've now had one the last two weeks)! Baked locally they told me. So yummy!
Returned a third time and yes, you HAVE to check this place out.

The Sweater Weather and Campfire Mocha dont come sweetened, which is okay, but next time I'll ask for one extra pump of sweetener. Also their children's temp hot chocolate is perfect tempt for a kid and toddler, very good hot chocolate by the way. Staff was nice, warm, friendly. All of our cups had the Jesus loves you cup sleeves. I told my daughter to read her cup (she's 6) and she was very excited to know that 'they know Jesus! I'm so happy' almost bouncing out of her seat. This was my first visit.

Greater Grounds never disappoints. The coffee is rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. Whether it's a classic drip, a creamy latte, or something seasonal, every cup I've had has been top-notch. The baristas are friendly and know their craft, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting—perfect for working, reading, or just relaxing. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!
