I was at the drive-thru at Hwy 55 in Locust, NC last week and they were out of French fries and tea. Iced tea and French fries are a staple in the South and a restaurant should never run out of those two items.

I'll start with positive first, my burger was really good. The fries, onion rings and tater tots were horrible. They were cold, and dark brown like they were cooked yesterday in old oil. Philly cheese steak was cooked in that same old oil and tasted terrible. They're chilli is good. This was my first ever Hwy 55 experience.

Not enough people working. Waitress got our order wrong and it took forever to get to us because there were only 3-4 people working at lunch time. More employees = faster service and not as much mental capacity required so orders more likely to be right. Food is good but disappointing to get a smaller burger than what was ordered.
