We ordered takeout when we arrived to pick it up they were handling a difficult customer whose border was not correct when we got our food, it was overcooked And cold. I had ordered noodles with my order and still got just rice. Since I love this kind of food I was sure hoping it would be better so I can go more often. Now I don't have a reason to go back

I visited this restaurant today around 2:40 p.m. for lunch, and while the food was excellent, I was disappointed with the service I received at the front counter.
The greeter/waitress came across as unprofessional and a bit uptight. While I was paying, she made unnecessary comments about customers taking her pens, which felt unwelcoming. When I requested a copy of my receipt, I ended up picking it up from the floor instead of being handed it, and I felt it should have been offered without me having to ask.
A warm greeting and a simple “thank you for coming in” would go a long way in creating a better experience. I truly enjoyed the food and hope this feedback helps improve customer service, as this could easily be a favorite spot with a more welcoming atmosphere.

⚠️ Parents beware! While sharing Hibachi Chicken with my toddler, I found a large bone in my chicken — he could have easily choked. When I told the owner, instead of apologizing or taking responsibility, she brushed it off and said it “comes like that from the place they order it from” and they just cook it as is. Absolutely unacceptable.
To make matters worse, multiple others in our party also found bones in their food. This isn’t just poor quality — it’s dangerous. The lack of care, accountability, and basic concern for customer safety was shocking. We will never return, and I strongly suggest others think twice before eating here

I most enjoy this restaurant. Note that people who enjoy sushi should try this place at least once, but I prefer the hibachi myself. The staff is hardworking, polite, and courteous. I don't eat inside much, but it is set to serve even large groups.

There were a few things that unfortunately I did not like so I feel like some honest feedback is needed here.
I brought my wife and daughter here because we are new to the area and wanted to try something new in town.
Both my wife and I got the 'steak and chicken' combo and side orders of Gyoza, mine with the noodles, and hers with the fried rice.
We enjoyed the salad and beef broth, and the Gyoza was fried to perfection in my opinion. The waitress was also kind.
We were very disappointed with the main dish.
It came with a giant lump of cooked mushy Carrots took up about 25 - 30% of the plate, the flavor was not great and it just looked sad, very visually unappealing.
The chicken was just chicken breast cook until dry and hard to chew.
The little bites of beef was also cooked dry and hard to chew (I think it was honestly a very cheap cut of meat)
The fried rice barely had any egg in it.
The noodles (this was my least favorite part of the whole experience) were just your basic spaghetti noodles, No springy texture whatsoever like you would normally find in Japanese/Asian cuisine.
After being served we only ate about 20% of the main dish, then decided to pack it up and go, and too be honest I don't even know why I packed it up. I'm 36 years old and I've never not eaten leftovers from a restaurant, so this is actually a first, I hate wasting food, but this stuff is going in the trash, I would love to get most of my money back, I spent $54 (not including tip) and only $14 was well spent (the two side orders of Gyoza). I should have just used the money to purchase a few prime ribeye's and cooked for myself.

The individuals at this establishment exhibit exceptionally poor manners and hostile behavior. There appears to be a lack of effective management, and it is exceedingly difficult to establish communication with the owner. The sole reason this business remains operational is that it is the only quick-service Japanese restaurant in town offering satisfactory cuisine.

I've ate here a few times, and while I have gotten used to country music at the Japanese spot, I just can't get used to the prices for what I am getting. They also get you on little things that can add up quickly with a larger group, like $4.50 per soft drink or $1.50 per person to swap to noodles (and actually it's advertised as $1.00 on the menu) before you know it with 4 people you have spent $25 on swapping rice for noodles and 4 drinks. I'm not saying I'd never go back, but definitely not my first pick, and definitely not the value I use to feel like it was.
