Surprized! I have not been to Locust in many years so was expecting sleepy, Locust of days gone by . Everything was excellent and the food as good or better than anything in the Charlotte area. Super nice knowledgeable staff. Will be back

The food was warm not hot The fish should have been cooked more it was mushy in the middle. The burger was ok it was cooked as ordered but warm not hot. The Coke didn’t taste like Coke.

This was our second time eating at the local room. We had the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer, they were excellent. We each had a half a rack of ribs and they were fall off the bone delicious. Service was good, prices were reasonable. I highly recommend the local room.

This spot has the best asiago salmon pasta ive had in a very long time ! Doesnt look like much at first but it is very filling. The stuffed trout was so buttery & carried a nice layer of flavors. The Blueberry Lemonade cocktail was soo strong & tasty 😌 Our server was great! Would give 5 stars but there was a small annoyance & his friends that kept buzzing around which sometimes is inevitable no matter the measures you take. Im satisfied & will definitely be back for more!
Very expensive for what you get. The cook really likes to use salt & not much else in the way of seasoning. We have tried The Local Room several times since the beginning of the business as it is closer than driving to Monroe. However, after our visit tonight we know we will not be going back. I feel my options are better in Monroe & my money will go further. If you like to drink alcohol you may enjoy this place but the food leaves alot to be desired.

I just happened to be passing through the area and stopped at this restaurant. But what a pleasant surprise! They had great food, the staff was really efficient at serving me and my party of 12. I liked the variety of food, from burgers, steaks, fish, crab cakes, sandwiches, and more.
